Well, I don't care anymore, I am getting a new computer with 1024 mb of DDRAM and a 64mb gfx card. So i'll be able to play URT and graal at the same time.

Anyway, I've worked on the serveroptions part a little bit, right now I'm kind of limited since Stefan hasn't added the functions for setting serveroptions and checking if you have rights to do so yet so yea

Right now there are two types of server options you can set, booleans and text types, for booleans, all you have to do is click them and they will toggle between true and false, for text fields you have to click on them, type text in, and hit enter for them to be sent to the server (once those functions are added), Oh, and as shown on this screenshot, communicating between client RCs and external RCs has been added

Edit: I will work on adding more serveroptions later

Nice progress.
This can be useful when actually trying to play whilst keeping up with RC and work.

But can you actually move and function and such while on client and having RC open?

You really know nothing about how it works so shh

I believe you can, once I am done with the core script I will work on making it more customizable (i.e.: being able to change backround colors, text colors, etc)

I have it set so it doesn't show me on the online list =P

Anyway, the color things for the backround are taken from an image, and the transparency is set from a var, I fooled around with it temporately

Gah.. I'd hate that... Its anyouing as it is on Graal.. becides RC isnt a chat program, its a working tool. Tools arnt ment for play, but you can use it for play

It would be cool, to have a NPC organizer with RC. Like you press a button and it closes tags {;} and spaces out your scripts to make it look neat

Alot of servers have loads of scripts piled into one NPC, and there totaly unorganized.. It would be good specialy for the GST, so they can log on and not have to look through the whole heap of crap to find the broken script..

instead of switching to RC and typing while you're scripting/making a gani/making levels/busy you could simply respond to someone using your voice.
Anyways, there should be a little thing, that shows the latency of the player, I and, maybe others, would appriciate that.

I was wondering... will we be able to rescript our own RC if we want to? To do that... Graal would actually have to have commands for sockets. Maybe some other... strange way of connecting or something instead. I don't know, I'd just like to be able to customize my RC with a script instead of pre-scripted options.

It's just a weapon you add on your server...so if you want it to work you kind of have to used the built in stuff for it :P (for things like serveroptions) but sure you can rearrange the guis however you want I guess

Also, note to server owners:
You will HAVE to give global staff the weapon, Stefan told me he will threaten servers who refuse to give them the weapon

Soo this means this is the last time for a external rc? Or any updates to the current one we have...... I hope jagen have shown Stefan this thread to let hims ee other people opinion that we don't like this idea to much. Mabey it would really settle it all if people have the option to run a rc in client or external. I bet if i add a poll for people to vote for external or client or both the poll would be deleted

I don't know much at all about how the Linux or Macintosh OSs work. I'm assuming the reason everything has to be internal is due to the GUI. Linux and Macintosh don't use the same GUI as Windows. I could be completely wrong, as I really don't know what I'm talking about, lmao. It just seems like that's why this is being done to me.

It would also explain the reason Stefan told me we will not be able to open external windows with a Graal script.
