These are all Squaresoft characters who suck for the most part.

Heck, squaresoft hasn't had a respectable male Final Fantasy lead since Cecil. Butz was okay but too shallow.

I like Ryu from Breath of Fire. Otherwise... I prefer female leads.

Honestly, I don't think Locke even was the male lead of FF6.

He was the second character (Besides Terra) to join the party, so he is the male lead.

Shadow was respectable, I thought he was rather good.

Ryu owned you, he was great.

Zidane = Monkeys are lame
Crono = DA BEST =P
Serge = I never went through this game either

Crono's my choice, cause Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPGs ever, also i'd like to add to this list
