The new system Is Not Working.

Why weren't the gang guns released? at .05 freeze and a new 0 freeze gun

and or

bring back old gang system and see how that works for a bit. (With gang guns that have .05 .0 freeze)

maybe make these gang guns only useable in gang bases. I guarantee the player count would skyrocket, if both old gangs and new freeze gang guns were released.

It would make most of the guns now worthless but hey, atleast Era would be fun again. What should have happened was: guns should have been buffed not nerfed, and gangs should have been worth something. By that I mean there should have been a system made that made gangs have the ability to own a gang base after capturing it, using the guns (gang guns) inside the base. Maybe after a while if a gang is dominate enough it could Own a base, bringing a little of the old system back, and be able to have more gang guns available for the gang. some sort of a perk system for dominate gangs involving gang guns. sort of like how Iera is... The problem is that the gang shop was supposed to come out ~2 weeks after the system was in place (It's been about 4 months now).

the shop won't fix the system lmao, raiding in these bases is just a waste of time, and we need to go back to 3-4 set gangs with adequate leaders

Yeah well, basing any major decisions off a poll of the Era Populace (Average IQ being that of a lima bean) would just be stupid. They always want something new, yet they always deny change.

The gang system should've been finished the following weeks it was released, Alfonso has no excuse for that other than wanting to release things 'bulked' before the New Year. That didn't work out either, since he didn't track the dev time and abandoned ship before he drove it into the iceberg.

Now a new manager is going to scrap everything because they have 'New Ideas' or simply can't finish what Sales started years ago.

We should just finish everything Alf was planning on doing, starting with the gang shop and slight modifications to the gang system itself. Then while that's happening, we move on to get that new gmap and the tileset live on the main server and so on and so forth.

Looking back on it, it's really funny how long it takes for things to get done. Sales started that system around 2008? That's three years ago. Everytime it's the same thing: "this person left the team, now we can't finish" or "this person is super lazy now we have to wait" or "this manager left, his ideas sucked so we throwing away all that work (and time) and doing better stuff!"

The system repeats itself, never getting anywhere, until "the chosen one" steps forth.

Regardless of who the next manager is, we need to finish the gang shop. If we just revert back to the old system then all this time would of have been completely pointless. Which I don't want to see happen.

i like zach's idea of a merger between both systems. i'll try to get him to post explaining it in detail so we can see what u guys think.
