For this one I will probably just animate the front two arms and his head, while the rest of his body is either strapped down by chains or stuck somewhere in a dungeon, as one of the hardest dungeon bosses in the game.

Either that or I will scale him down.

And animating this hand drawn image isn't any different than animating a pixelart image.

These comments are real nice to read.. But three minutes ago I decided to shut down the server (probably temporarily). I realized working on it for at least 10 hours a day, 2 weeks straight and losing alot of sleep isn't healthy. Probably because I'm a type of guy who likes to do things a 100% or nothing at all.

I'm just going to have to really think about my plans on the server and hopefully let you know what those plans are soon. I don't want to make the same mistake again.

This is so sad to hear, for real. This server would be a big up for Graalonline, something new, something exciting, something we haven´t really seen in long time.

I think you should make a schedule when to work, when to not work, and just sleep whenever you feel tired. Dont feel any pressure at you man, you don´t have any, believe me. I can wait a long time for this server, its worth the time waiting.

I hope to see you come back on your feets again, but maybe with a schedule or something like I just said, something that will make you able to work, get sleep and just enjoy it. Don´t make it your job, make it your hobby.

From what I have heard, it will be very sweet stuffs. Maybe not that much new features, BUT, with these graphics it will be a whole new style of gameplaying. I believe its pretty new.

Something new to the table will show up, I am sure.

Wow, I'm surprised at how supportive the Graal community can be , I'm really grateful.

Right now, at 6:30 AM while I'm writing this and having been thinking for hours I'm happy to tell you my decision has been made. I am simply changing my approach, and I'm definitly not quitting.

Well, the thing was, 80% of me said slow dooown, 3% said quit now! and 17% said; stop whining and get a move on!

The server right now is just set to staffonly, I think there's a connection between me being burned out and having it be in the public while it's still under heavy construction, the pressure was high because a positive first impression is of high importance. After having over 300 unique visitors on the server within one day after the news feed I don't think of it as that bad making it staff only, or is it?

Thanks for being honest. People like you, too, are needed to pull people like myself back on the ground when needed be. Though I hope you understand what it means to create something 'new and exciting' especially within Graal.

Although I definitly have ideas I am bound to execute which I consider to become 'new and exciting', I just don't like to magnify the theoretical side of things, rather to actually SHOW the people when it's done. And aside from that I am more grounded in my plans of taking the right approach on gameplay, content and a well nurtured economy to have those three components in the right balance. In order to create what in my eyes would be a fun, socially engaging, skill oriented, refreshing experience without any real sense of 'grinding' and repeating a mundane process 1000s of times to be at a certain level to compete fairly with others. All of this would be something 'new and exciting', or would it not?

Trust me, no one is going to waste money on a server and not make good on it, especially if it's being talked about in such a manner as this one is. O_O;;
A. Vinka doesn't strike me as a quitter.
B. He would be known as a quitter and a failure if he were to quit.
C.If he quit, this would also be his 15 minutes of fame and some people may dislike him.
But anyway, that's just my point of view... (:
Also, I think you should create a BRAND NEW monster that hasn't even been created that players can fight. Otherwise it'd be a Maloria clone with awesome graphics. :P

Alright.. it's been a long working day for me again.... (Gues I'll never learn )

I've layed down and designed the skeleton of the city. I've made a few screenshots of what it all looks like now (empty) and I'll show you what I will place there.

First up is the centre of the city, as you see I've moved a house and added two signs (the one on the left points towards the Battle Balcony, which will be the place where people can spar each other. The one on the right points towards the place where most of the citizens will live, and where you will be able to build your own house in the future.)

Second thing youll notice is Ive repositioned the Westonia Inn in the South East corner. The place where you will resurrect after you die. In a bed.

Third is where the Events Building will be, in the southwest corner.


Fourth is the place where the Election Hall will be placed, in the North West corner of the city. This will be the building where kingdom citizens will gather once a month to vote for the new King.



Fifth is the far north of the city; where the big stairs will be placed, which will lead to the King's throne and Battlefield Entry.



And the last spot in the North-East corner is where the City's church will be placed. One of the things that'll happen there are weddings; which will introduce you the ability to start amd create your own house, and much more.
