The old man is a bug that popped up. When ever a player would enter the castle and log out while still in the cutscene, the script wouldnt remove the old man, fixed now though, sorry.

Strafing System in almost done. You can toggle straffing by pushing the SpaceBar. May change the button need and if the key toggles it or you must keep the key pressed down. (Will need player input for this decision)
Targetting System has been started. All Objects/NPCs will incorporate it somehow. Currently there are eight actions you can try to do to whatever is targetted.
Move To Here
A Simplistic point'n'click movement system.
Look/Study
Try to get more info on what is targetted (eg. baddies)
Open
Try to open the target (eg. chests, crates, etc)
Read
Try reading what is targetted. ( eg. stone statues, signs, etc)
Speak To
Talk to people without having to be right by them. ( eg. someone up on a roof, that yo ucan't access)
Attack
Automated attack system, will attack baddies, will not work on Bosses
Close (REMOVED)
Try to close the target (eg. chests, crates, etc)
Do Nothing
Just move arounf the target so you don't automatically do what is selected.
The Object Targetted, is zoomed 1.25 times so in crowded areas you can see what is targetted.
Objects that are targetable will have a very faint target circling them also.
The whole targetting system can be toggled on/off by pressing 't'

Few more updates, I have dungeons 2-4 fully planned out. Targetting system has been intergrated with the majority of the objects on the OSL island and the Town of Gale, insides of the osl has been fully intergrated. Will add the system to players sometime early next week. Also looking for some help, you can read about that on the hirings thread in Playerworld Openings.

Locking onto the target now makes you always face the target with your shield up. Good for distance enemies. Also with Lock-On, you will be able to precisely cast a range magick attack.
Worked on some music
Please Forum PM/Bug Stefan to increase Varia's download cap to 3MB, so the new stefs over 1MB can be heard by all people in .ogg/.mp3 formats
Added a clear logs Button to the F2 Log Window. Pushing it cleans all Log Tabs
When changing Varia Game Options, it now reports it to the appriate log, so you can verify the change. (eg. Setting the sound format to .Ogg, will tell you in the sound log tab that it has been changed successfully)
Cleaned Up and improved efficency in Targetting System script. (Currently runs at 0.0091656%)

I have released a beta targetting system. Some commands are incomplete/not working but other ones are done. I hope players can test it and player around with it and tell what can be improved.

Other commands are mostly finished. Only thing left is to intergrate the targetting system with all the objects on Varia. Which is why I would like some NAT help is someone has the spare time.

Updated the sword system. Swing and spin is now fixed. You can press S rapidly and all you'll do is slash, when you hold S, you will swing and go into a charge pose. Right now you will remain stationary, I will work on movement while charging tomorrow. But when you release S you will spin.
Drakilor and I may of found a bug/issue between clients (Windows vs. Linux) It seems on linux, when you hold S it calls keydown/keyup, but on Windows when you hold S it calls keydown until you release S, which then it calls onkeyup, Deas if you could log on and test this, it would be greatly appreciated. Just tell me if you can charge or if you just rapidly slash. :])

as this is a old bug, it's not that surprising that i slash rapidly instead of charging, however, i believe you can fix this by using GraalControl.onKeyDown() but im not sure as i am at school at the moment and can't try this.
i'm also going to test this with V6beta (thought there's linux version missing compared to windows) when i get home.

Yes I am using GraalControl.onKeyDown(), just something Stefan needs to fix. :/ Thank you anyways.
