Funny how almost every Graal application (RC, Graal, GraalEditor, GraalShop) has been detected and all Stefan says is "sometimes antivirus' make mistakes".

I think Jerret turned me onto it, but Microsoft Essentials is by far the most simplistic and yet I haven't had one problem with it.

What version are you running? The most recent version shouldn't pick that up. Or any version, for that matter, but I guess we have an exception here.

I think the reason that so many anti-virus programs pick up on Graal and such is because the executables are often compressed and packed, which in theory, makes it difficult for anti-virus scanners to see what is going on inside. Because of this, anti-virus packages will often mark these packed executables as viruses because they can potentially mask harmful code. Stefan would have to confirm that though.

<Dustyshouri> in fact, he pretty much brought Graal back as a topic single-handedly

I use ESET's Smart Security which has NOD32, it's excellent.

Atleast they could send in the executeables.

You can just send in an example on the websites of antivirus companies. It's easy and quick - in my experience the longest time it took them to edit and update the signature was two days.
Or is it a heuristic warning? Yet it might be worth a try anyways.
