It's all about style!
Graal###### accounts just aren't cool.
Even if someone has a "cool" community name, it's kind of a turn-off to see them with a "common-day" graal###### account
Scenario:
- Sees someone with the nickname *Zelda; of course the asterisk means his nickname is also his apparent account
- "Gee, that's a pretty cool account!"
- His coolness level has gone up to 6
- Right-clicks to profile, only to see his actual account is Graal345978
- His coolness level drops back down to 3
Accounts are all about status
There's a hierarchy, 'ya see:
1) Ibonic's ultra-cool, so he reserves the top of the list with a two-letter account, *iB
2) Accounts with three and four characters. These are cool because the max characters for account creation was 5, however some people are cool enough to get special treatment.
*Rick, *Duck, *SSS, *Ven, *Masa, *Meph, *LGM, *jade, *Kill, etc.
3) Accounts with five or more characters that spell cool words/names
*Glock, *Eclipse, *Salesman, *swift, *Tseng, etc.
-----------------
- Generally, people above this line realize that they have a cool account and show it off by fronting the asterisk before their name as shown.
- People below this line realize that their account isn't quite cool enough to use as a nickname.
-----------------
4) Accounts that spell cool/witty phrases or semi-cool words
*LoadedSwift, *LordSquirt, *alskdjfhg, *SensesFail, etc
5) Accounts that spell words but contain numbers or underscores, or contain "_P2P" because it was cool to put _P2P a while back
*Demisis_p2p, *Israfel_i, *Fire_Knight310, *Andre2006, *l33tcrayons, *wizard1st
6) Accounts that either don't spell something too appealing, or just don't make any sense. At this point, having a non-graal###### account is cool enough to suffice for higher status.
*Sum41freeeeeek, *Fewynchan, *MWMWM, *Death_Striker, etc.
7) Graal###### accounts that try to look cool by setting cool community names, but in the end they're still Graal###### accounts.
community name - Oddish, account *Graal346472
etc.
8) Graal###### accounts. |
