Look it comes down to the guest account. Trials can't play after so many hours so they disappear. And then the ones with p2p start getting pwned and leave.

one of two things need to happen.

Take away guest account for zone (and make sure they can't use the damn shop)

and

Put this server down to classic for a few months, work on the guest account issue, take away the shop while its down on classic cept maybe keep the p2p accounts up for sale. Then when enough interest is back put it back on gold.

This wont work, although I do like how you are actually trying to help the game instead of complaing *cough (Kia). Players didnt leave because they got "owned", they left because the trials left. Zone's playercount used to be in the 30's (?), before V5. If you remove the trials, you're down to about 20 or so. Most people quit once the playercount reached that low.

Actually it was admitted that since they couldn't lame and could get killed now they decided to leave.

Yeah I'm sure every player said this.

Without trials the place is too empty to enjoy. Without trials, you're up against people who are roughly on your level of skill. That means you have long ass 1v1 fights on arctic/spar which is NOT fun. No trials = no fun.

And before you say it, this isn't the same thing as "couldn't lame and could get killed now" statement.

Most Zone P2Ps left not because there wasn't any trials around anymore, but because everyone else whined so much about it that they though they would join in. They saw the oppertunaty to be all "Strike! We won't play Zone anymore!" hoping that would turn Stefans head.. Stupid children know nothing of persuasion.

I think that it should be that people who have payed but P2P ran out, get the same trial mode as before v5 and those who have never payed on their account stick with the current trial mode.

Raven... I can assure you the mast majority did not leave because they can not lame trials, they left for one reason alone, they hated V5 or they moved to a different Server since Zone had such a low playercount. Its not hard to find out where alot of players have gone, look at GK's playercount, thats where some of Zone's p2ps went. Also, you have been saying the same thing and suggesting the same idea almost every post you make, so please post a new idea and/or reason.

On to topic, Jin still has the biggest ego I have ever seen, but thats why we all love him. <3

And about these ideas, it would be nice if you could post a few, also I think if you guys do try to bring the server back without staff, it will be very difficult, but you may be able to do it.

I won't be playing the game anymore, but I will look at the forums now and then, I am staying on the forums because of the NGR, and I still like to read the news on Zone and such. The reason no one plays is mostly the gelat shop. It's not fair if u get killed by someone who has chainsaw for 14 days straight, now, is it? That's why I think the daages should be lowered for weps in the shop. also, put the ammos back. putting them in the gela shop is completely unfair.

No one left because of being lamed, they left because of v5. No one wants to play with half a screen and only a few classes to choose from, not to mention the limited time they get.

Once the trials left, the playercoutn went with it. Zone never had an unusually high playercount to begin with, once you remove the trials, it's over!

Step 1:

Get rid of the guest accounts on Zone so its just trial accounts again.

Step 2: Tweak the shop so items can't be bought or set a rank you must have to use it. With trials if you can set it up only have it so they can see the p2p accounts for sale.

That will never work. In one day I easily got 5,000 experience points which allowed me to equip many weapons (this was as a trial). A week later, Touya got even more than that, plus he had enough money for a jetpack and he earned a 1,500 bounty (back when bounty was much much harder to get back than, 10,000 bounty today is like 2,000 bounty back then). Anyways, he also did that on trial. So im sure that would not be a solution.

You don't even have to be good. You just have to base lame long enough. I am pretty sucky and I can manage 5k exp in one day if I want to.

Hard to really understand.

Anyways, being a Marshall doesnt mean anything. It doesnt mean you are good. A set rank for some weapons should be included, but not because new players are using photon.
