GoZelda did that once back then...he had a "pluffy gang unite" kind of thread and some people hopped the bandwagon. Think it was about 4-5 people.

I wouldn't want clones anyway. I think one Crono is enough.

An excellent design, but this style is called "web 2.0" since it has that futuristic clean-cut look to it - I wouldn't suggest that for Graal.

You would want to encapsulate the idea dark dungeons, shoot'em up arenas, and classic spar tournaments all in one logo so you'd need something general like "adventure" to keep in mind when you design it.

Graal Online is probably willing to accept anything that's aesthetically pleasing but if you want to use it in your portfolio you should keep the above in mind...

Thanks for the compliment
Even if the design doesnt lack quality...there are still some holes in it such as the bottom part of it
its not really good

yea its not really good for graal since a logo has to represent a whole game which doesnt make it easy to keep it as simple as possible

but since its a common style for logos of gaming companies, i thought that it would work out heh

I hate that idea, always have. A logo doesn't have to represent the company - the user will find a reason for it to reflect their intents (Nike swoosh, anyone?). But yea, you've basically got it - for this purpose you'd want something to reflect the game

This should have been done when Graal was young. It's almost impossible to create a simple shape or logo to associate Graal with now because it's so far down the line and it's so diverse. If it had a logo from the start, no matter what Graal is now, it would relate to Graal for the simple fact it grew up with it. If anything, maybe a simple coat of arms type of thing would suffice... but in all honesty I don't see anything coming out of this.

I'd do the graphics but I'm lazy.
I say make something like lego's. Have a character being 'built' by blocks. It shows that it's a game by the display of a character(maybe even make this a screenshot), and shows that you can build it by showing it being built.

Of course, I still think it's too late for any kind of company logo.

That's probably your best bet.
Like I posted before, it's too late to try to design a logo for Graal that 'says' Graal without literally saying it.
Everyone knows the AOL logo stands for AOL because AOL started with it. Sure, it's changed over the years, but it maintained the same idea.
Same with the Triforce, Mario mushroom's, AIM stickfigure guy and so on. They all developed these logos pretty early on, and it stuck through and became associated with it.
Graal has always used different logos throughout the years for the Graal website and client, mainly consisting of a fancied up "Graal" with graal-relating things around it. Bad idea, it should have been something simple in the beginning. Even if it didn't relate to Graal in any way, anyone who grew up with Graal would have come to know what the logo was for. Just the way any other game/business does it.

I agree this is the best one... Coming from me that is truly a compliment! Usually I would say, "I didn't make it? Blasphemy! It is horrible!", but in this case I did not.

No one understands.

A logo isn't a banner. A logo is that aim yellow guy that looks like he's running. A logo is the "M" arches in mcdonalds.

That's the kind of idea.

The object was never to "display" Graal. That's the point everybody missed, we just needed an icon recognizable as "Graal" like the 7-up dot, which says nothing about lemon lime cola.

In any case, nothing usable turned up and the thread died. Except that it's been revived about 6 times

And here I am, playing the Necromancer again.
I really think that an icon would be nice for Graal.
World of Warcraft has that W in a circle icon, that doesnt say anything about it, but its reconisable. So yeah
