lol... why would you turn down one scripter just because you already have one? I know lots of servers that would die to have two good scripters under their belt.

But, the thing is, we have like... 4 good scripters, though none really go on any more...

I told Angelu why I cannot get online right now, ask him if you wanna know. I will be back soon, dont ****ing worry.

Edit: Oh ya, the Ziro thing...guess that was my mistake. That was like...no idea, a while back though. I would hire him now, if I could.

Well I think Esteria has potential. I absolutely LOVE the graphical work and I would really BEG Angelu not to let those bodies be wasted.

It's pretty obvious in the things that have been said that they're just being dramatic in order to gain some scripting help, don't worry

If you're going to manage the server though, find someone and do your job. It's pretty obvious Angelu runs the place while you just sit back and glory take. Do something.

I wanted to do that, but it's impossible currently

I already had the idea planned and how I'd do it, but Graal just isn't capable of doing the necessary things, like cropping ani's and vertical/horizontal flipping.

Any idea on when the fishing shop will open? I want to do more than just run around like bald britney. and will movement ever be able to be controlled by mouse like on Zone? I see that a lot of servers are starting to do that

If EVERY water has shallow water before deep, could you not edit the gani?

Hmm, well I'm not getting what you're trying to say.
The limitations that hold back the reflections I had in mind were:

Cropping showani's. Needed for the effect I did, though for static reflections, I guess it could work without.
Tile layers need to be able to have specified levels(ie, over the player, under). That way I could make the reflection surface layer 0, grass and such layer 2, and the reflection itself between it. That way the reflection would 'disappear' under the grass when the player walks from water to grass. Currently you can only achieve this effect with a GUI, and that's a pain-staking process and it's not even smooth(updating the player's x/y to screenx/y is laggy for some reason). This effect could technically be possible by cropping the reflection accordingly depending on the tile it's on, but even then, there is still no cropping.
Flipping images/showani's. Currently you can only rotate, and that causes the player's shield and such to be on the wrong side.
Lastly, at least with rotations, the showani is offset a lot when it's rotated. The idle is shown directly under the player, then if you walk, it shifts a little to the bottom-right, and if you swing a sword, it just shoots away. I dunno if this would happen with flipping though.

I'm gonna start a "patition" of sorts maybe on the wiki (if I can get permission to put such a thing on there) so if you agree that this is a feature for tilelayers that is super super important, contact me! (Applys to everyone) If we get enough people wanting this, maybe that can convince Stefan of its importance. I know that he won't be able to do it by the next Graal version though since his agenda for updates is already pretty booked (lots of bug fixes such as the playerlist lag) and I have to agree that those are probably more important then this.
