Ya, it's a bit sad that the server people are mainly paying for, besides Zone, gets less updates than any of the classic servers. Especially when there's so much potential for a server like Kingdoms.

When your shot you can still live if someone takes the bullet out. Otherwise your life would be a lot shorter. Anyone want to imply what that means and draw my reasoning from that?

Yeah.. Lack of updates is actually a bullet and it is in Kingdoms, if we were to get rid of the bullet (lack of updates) and add stuff Kingdoms won't die like Bomy Moon..

Graal2001 didn't die due to lack of updates... in fact, it died due to the complete opposite.

Examples:
- Custom Bodies
- Custom Hearts
- Desutruction of Kingdoms

Stefan was shot with an ice-bullet and it dissolved in his body, and he only has 5 days to live because there was no way to take the bullet out?

Add more events, stop making stupid items that imbalance the already screwed economy, and most of all; listen to the damn players for a change. Updates bring people back, and that's true with any online game.

You tried again? Normally Kingdoms Debug is enabled for classic staff accounts now.

I am afraid I agree with Myth-Simba.
I loved graal Kingdoms when it was full of players who RPed, PKed and did dungeons together. Now I never saw more then 20 persons online In the few weeks that I've been playing again. Even Zodiac has more players and then i dont coutn the trials.
Zone does it right. A decent playerbase and a fun concept. Graal Kingdoms stayed the same since I started playing with my first p2p account and the only reason I am still playing is because it is the only game in which I can express my creativity (Thank god Valikorlia still lives) and make my own world.

The problem, bluntly put, is that the competition has been removed from Graal Kingdoms. When Sam was doing a lot of work with Kingdoms he saw that players treated each other poorly (which isn't unusual, they're mostly preteens struggling with their own sense of identity) and prioritized on this - in doing so he attempted to set the gap between "low class" and "high class" players by injecting new, fairly potent, items that everyone could readily obtain.

In doing so, all he effectively did was REMOVE the middle class and create low and high class individuals. There were less high class individuals, very dramatically so - but they were also much more rich than before.

In doing this he made it MUCH harder for the average user to become high class - which essentially was one of the leading interests on the server (a sort of era system - the king pin).

The real tragedy, in my opinion, isn't that the competition is gone - but that now, many unskilled individuals, who previously wouldn't have had the chance, are in positions of power they're not equipped to handle.

Zone is mostly fun because it's *actual* skill based; you have to know the normal and expected tactics of your enemy and outwit them very rapidly. What makes it a competition is your drive to have a high bounty while maintaining a decent kill:death ratio. Perhaps there's not as much clout as on kingdoms, but it definitely has it's own hierarchy.

Basically Stephen I think Myth wants Stefan to answer his post. And frankly I tend to agree with him. Since I started here I have seen the sharp decline in users playing it. Why? LACK OF UPDATES. That is the biggest thing that is plaguing this server. Instead of them working on Graal 3D why don't they just concentrate on releasing more stuff and fixing bugs and that for Graal Kingdoms.

People like GK and frankly I think they would rather see more updates for it then for Graal 3D that no one even has access to playing currently. When I tried it I wasn't impresssed. Its not good enough to compete with other 3D games. Just suck it up and fix bugs/give updates/new levels/new quests for GK and work on Graal 3D as a side project.

Because now I feel after reading your post that all they are about is working on Graal 3D. Sad isn't it.

They're creating a new platform, with many advances in the game engine which will make potential for amazing new content.

The keyword is potential.

We know that the player count of Graal Kingdoms is low and Graal needs more players in general. We were working on several things to improve Graal and plan to release and change things soon.
About free upgrades on other games: those upgrades contain bug fixes (which you get for free on Graal as well) and new maps and items where 90% of them cost money, they are not different to us and want to make money.

I suggest you release some updates that will bring the players back or offer some type of incentive to new players. Like the christmas package was a big hit. Bjorn has a new waterglass level I made...no idea if its ever going to be used. Glad to hear your planning on releasing new stuff soon.

I was just talking about Graal Kingdoms and I think Myth Simba was talking the same thing. We have seen a steady decline in people who are playing. I logged on and there was only 5 people on the whole server...will probably hit 20 by the time I get off. Thats pretty sad.

The trials would like to advance further but once you tell them they have to pay for gold/vip usually they can't or don't have the money.

Also just a thought. Can you make it clear when they are choosing the VIP package that its not gold time. I know you said that it can be played once a week but I have had a few people talking to me who just got it and I had to tell them to buy gold time if they wanted to keep their items etc.

Maybe what you should think of doing is that if its a new account that signed up that the subscribe page has the classic, gold and gold/vip packages..that way they won't buy the wrong one....and after they upgrade the normal page comes up.

VIP accounts still keep their items; they can only see them during weekends though.

And you hit the main problem. They want to play with their items during the week. I had to guess yesterday and tell a player who got VIP to get gold and he would get his items again.
