Only way you can finish a stand alone game is if you can find more developers outside of graal than you can inside. Which is very unlikely.

I'm still waiting over 5 years or something like that for WarCaptain (I think it was him, can't remember who owned Engima without looking at my AIM list to see his nick) to make his game. You will be lucky if you make it a few weeks before you give up.

LOL man I think Warcaptain gave up on that game a long time ago. I remember I was mod on the main part of his forums, even though maybe 3-4 people posted a day. :P

Reason for quitting? Another project. Not a Graal project, and also not a project with the graphics of Esteria. So stop saying we dont have the patience to finish a damn Graal server, mkay?

The old "graal is going nowhere" excuse is lame. You should have known Graal's direction long before you started a server. Also, it's not as though you can't attract outsiders to your graal playerworld.

Just sounds like you guys got stuck somewhere or tired of working on the same project. More than likely one or several of you will attempt a seperate game which won't get very far and fall apart, or will take many many years to release. Good luck with that though.

I wasnt tired of working on Esteria. I worked almost every day, but as I said, theres another project right now :]

If you are working on another project which has made you quit Esteria, then yes, you have grown tired of Esteria. If you weren't tired of it, you would have finished it and THEN began working on this other project. Don't bother trying to explain your way out of that.

We've seen you guys come and go. The people who have hyped themselves right out of Graal. Your thought processes are all the same:

"Hmmm... if we are getting this much hype from our unreleased Graal server, just imagine how popular our own game would be! Plus we would be in total control and be able to profit! Screw making a "damn" graal server! Those things are going nowhere!"

Then you spend up to a year finding out that you need a lot more experience managing and developing an online game than you thought.

Eh, I just cant explain this to you so you will understand that. Its like if you got a piece of chocolade. Then you see a cake, and eat the cake instead of the chocolade.

He sent me a screen shot few weeks ago, said he was still working steady on it. Looks as bad as it was years ago tho. ;o

Heh, I actually dont care what you are saying. Theres no problem for me to code my own game client, and I also know alot people who would help out with the project. I dont have any problems, what are yours?:]

I kind of love you lol.

Konidias...I know it will be hard. But even if we wont finish it...it would have been a pretty good practice, ya know. And I also "dont care" what you think, say or want to say, because you cant tell me anything, heh. I can stop or continue the work on a project whenever I want, or make a new project out of a Graal server, who cares?

Say whatever you want. You'll just end up banned again. All you do is post negatively. Why are you even on these forums? You seem to hunt out threads that you can start a fight in or insult someone in. Look at your last 500 posts... 90% of them are going to be negative towards Graal, a player, a staff member, an idea, or just a reply in general.

You're insults don't even make sense. Are you trying to throw Oasis in my face or something? You did a horrible job. Where am I being "anal" at all? I think you just wanted to say the word. As far as Oasis being a failure... it isn't a failure if I cancelled it. It's a cancellation. If I tried to make it and released it and it stunk, then it would have been a failure. It never had the chance to be.

But I am disappointed that Oasis was never finished. So in that sense, it was a failure. So what? Shouldn't he be listening to my advice even more? I'm trying to tell him what not to do. What concern is it of yours anyway? You're just a gigantic hypocrite.

Does it mather if its over the web? No. Why? Because Internet is used pretty much as much as you talk to people IRL, meaning, this is no different then for example taling over the phone.

The fact that he told you he really doesn't care about any of your advice, one post to this guy was enough, and he has mentioned this.

It was your repeated attempts of talking crap to him that I find hilarious that you'd waste your time. Alot of people knew this server was going to go down the crapper because times change konidias.

I find it hilarious that you spend so much time on these forums when you seem to hate the staff, the players, the forums, and everything about Graal.

If you hated health food would you sit around a health food store all day saying "man I hate this crap". Why don't you go play some game or join some community that you don't hate?

I spend alot of time on the computer during the day, or at home, while at work. I have a project outside of selling houses and dealing with that **** where I would have to use the computer, I take a couple of minutes out of my time for a break from other crap to come post on here. It's not like I wake up, and post all day in my time zone.

The part with my mum was an example, and no its not because of the lack of staff, we could have finished the server.

Konidias, fine. I accept your advice, I understand what you mean, but why are you even posting this? I wont get back into this project for the next few months, doesnt matter what you are telling me. Theres another project with a higher priority, as I already told you. We probably will finish or atleast try to finish this project, but most likely it wont be Graal based anymore.
