also: A lot of things aren't (re)set as expected when switching servers.

For example:

-I was just on Classic and switched to Maloria. The level/gmap I was in on Classic showed up on Maloria under their "News" GUI for about 15 seconds even though my internet connection wasn't lagging. Note: It was the first time I was on Maloria though and doesn't happen after that, so I do know it was some kind of lag anyway -- but I don't think v2 acts like this, it's just odd to see the previous server's level like that.

-If you set a nickname while on a server and then switch to another, in v2 it would use the name that you set while online, but in v4 it uses the one that was set on the client before logging on the first time.
(CheeToS told me this was already reported, sorry! I noticed it a long time ago, but never bothered to post it until now)

-Customs graphics (e.g. letters.png) from servers are still shown when switching to another which uses the defaults (e.g. Maloria to Classic), or sometimes none are shown at all.

Have also had a problem quite frequently lately on both v4 and v2 (on Classic) where some levels on a gmap will not show up at all other than as the default grass tiles. This gives the impression to other people that a person experiencing this is walking through walls / cheating.

Sometimes my chat text bar disappears completely (doesn't show up when pressing tab), this happened just now after switching servers a few times. Not sure if it's been reported already or not.

I can't set a proxy for when I'm at school networks or likewise.

Enabling second moniter while G4 is on causes Access Violation Error confirmed.

Playing G4 on second moniter: 5% up to 38%. I guess my computer handles it better, however, it's still noticible.

It's a problem with the npcserver, I have fixed it already but I am not sure if I have uploaded the updated npcserver to all machines.

- setlevel2 (and maybe wraptext2) convert floats to integers

setlevel2 works the same like always, it converts to precision of 0.5

- Scripts are not halted while reading signs (causing problems on Classic, should this be changed or should Classic change their script?)
EX: #gscript, cheetos_sign.nw. Give yourself the weapon cheetos_v4halt. In v4, the number still increases while reading signs

It's not a bug, it's meant to be like that.

Hm, well, I've noticed that when I setlevel2 to a position I can't do it to something like 30.5, it always gets rounded down to 30, atleast under these circumstances, haven't got the time now to test it differently, will do tomorrow.
A system NPC triggers grab when pressing A, following code doesn't warp correctly:

I get sent to 30, 30.

Additionally, check out fry_v4bug.nw on #gscript, setimgpart(i); in NPCs makes the images act weird when moving.

I've tried it with 30.4, 30.5, and 30.6 on #gscript (cheetos_showpoly.nw), and they all put me at 30 with v4 and 30.5 with v2 (verified with RC)

It's not a bug, it's meant to be like that.

Didn't think it was a bug, but I wasn't sure if there was any important reason why scripts don't do anything in v2. Just posted it in case

Can there be a way to make a function like onSignClose(sign index) or something? Might be helpful for NPCs which start a timer or something after you finish reading the sign.

There is the 'playerendsreading' event.
No idea whether it works or if it's just there for looking good.

When you press escape it asks you if you want to quit. The problem with this is that it freezes the client. People have been known to use this 'feature' to cheat/gain immunity. How about making it so it doesn't freeze the client?

Upon logging onto Valikorlia's bridgeton.gmap I can't move. I have to unstick me to onlinestartlocal and THEN come back. (then it works but when you re-log the same thing happens)

There's a bug on the serverlist. You can probably get the exact same result. On the serverlist, scroll all the way down, then click the [+] on the Hosted. The bar will go down and off.

Did you try deleting filenamecache.txt? Some things won't update if it is not deleted first.

Bug. Caused by the scrollbar thing updating size but not moving back up to account for the change in size

Ok, chances are it might be there for a while since Stefan uses Win2k and the problem only occurs with WinXP.

Oh and while i posted, i'll tell you this V3 bug, i dont know if its there in V4, If you go onto a server with a minimap, then leave the server to go to a server with no minimap, the minimap from the last server you entered stays there.

I think that bug still exists on v4.

If you go onto a server and use a hat, then log onto Valikorlia, the hat will still be on the player. If you go on Zone and then on Valikorlia, the hair you had on Zone will be on your character, just missplaced.

When you place too many letters/numbers/whatever into the nickname tab causing the letters to shift left, it's off. Screenshot should explain it all, im bad with wording -_-

Edit-This problem also exists for the password tab. not the account tabs though.

That would be an error in the profile for editboxes. Offset property iirc.

Two bugs on Valikorlia.

One, the hat you were using on another server "saves" and is mis-placed upon entering val. Screenshot below.

Two, upon entering Val my character will freeze up. Sometimes it shows the walk gani sometimes the idle. After a random amount of time, or random action, the freeze will let go. By freeze I mean you can't move but you can, for example, go to your inventory and equip a weapon.

This is a feature request:

Possible checkbox under the password box to disable the saving of password. Similar to what RemoteControl has.

This would prevent problems that people have with publicly shared PCs. Someone might be using a public PC then they leave and someone speedhacks on their account and they get banned...this would prevent such problems.

(Yes I know it is in the options menu but if it is positioned under the password box it will be more well known and used by more people.)

I just tried it on N-Pulse, and it is working fine for me.
EDIT: I need to send you v.28 still, maybe that is the problem.

With the new update, the information that shows when you log on a server that you are banned on does not show. Rather, all you see is an empty scroll box.

Hmm, can you test it on another server (you might need to restart the client before seeing the ban message), just in case it is just something with that server? I tested it with Maniaman, Bjoern, and Ibonic, and they aren't having problems. I will test it with some more people when I find them.
