I need to get hooked on phonics

When I'm trying to learn a recipe, and it says that the recipe is "beyond my comprehension", does it mean that my INT is too low, or that my Mental Level is too low?

Mental Level is too low. A good way to level it would be super-reading , or even running by map spots (where people commonly drop items) and woodlore. -shrug-

Maybe that sapphire receipe works still?

Yeah, I was bored a week or so ago, so I decided to buy a book called "Work of Xeno". It was "way beyond my comprehension".
Raised my mental level a few, and now it's "quite a bit beyond my comprehension"! Woohoo!

You're talking about the Ruby one. That's the one that's beyond my comprehension. Is there any other good recipes for getting mental EXP?

I used that one recipe that you would fail a lot but every time you suceeded and Identified it properly, it would give you a *****IN' amount of EXP. I remember almost always leveling every time I identified it. Didn't it call for torches?

Thats the ruby recipe which gave you like 200,000 exp each time you compleated the recipe. I don't know if it still gives you that much
