not slingshot like dennis the menace but slings as in David vs. Goliath

a gani of you twiling it abouve ur head while your aiming it lol and it has to be 1 handed still allowing your shield at your side

and make some sort of chisel or rock crusher that make stones : mountain or river:: into ammo for it

It's a pretty decent idea... but no one would use one right now because they can use a shield with a bow... and a shield with a massave 50kg+ hammer...

If the concepts of weight and weilding are properly implemented/created... then I'm sure it would be in wide use.

That would be nice, I agree - so ould be whips/vines. But as Ed said, there are so many weapons and only few different ones are used, as they are the "best" ones.
