Well it defianly doesnt look like it could be part of a fuctional graal weapon... I think it's a kind of sword, or a swordaxe... I like the outline, add more shading.

It's a good start. Apparently, you're going for a different kind of sword style. It looks to me like the top of the sword has a kind of an axe-curve to it, but you should work on it a little bit. With a couple of other changes, the outline can come out to be pretty decent. It doesn't end there, it doesn't look like you've done much shading either. Work on it a bit, let's see some progress.

I tried to make it look somewhat like and orcs sword from lotr's but I don't think I got that

errr. Stupid question # 1
How do I shade......

Look in the tutorials sticky.

If nothing's there, here's a simpler description.

Look at the word. "Shading". Shade... Use different shades of your base colour to give the image dimension and ZEST!

I think I did this shading thing you speak of......
Doesn't look much different to me......or thats just cause I suck at it

And I made a nice candle out of it for ya chris... Well...I tried...

don't use jpeg for pixel art. it is a lossy compression.

i can't beleive no one else told you that yet.

A) The shading is really hard to notice there...

B) that's a REALLY big candle flame.

I just watched the two towers and the Orcs swords only pointed out one way err, you know what I mean?
