playerdarts--; bug?

Im using playerdarts--; in a bow npc, and it works fine when I shoot an arrow. It subtracts from playerdarts. However, once I reconnect, the number of playerdarts returns back to the original ammount. Can any help?

This needs to be done serverside. I don't think I can show you how to do it without violating the 'cannot post complete scripts' rule.

Does indeed seem like a bug, but actually I expected the server to automatically reduce the amount of playerdarts once the shootarrow command or alike ones are called.

Your problem is, you're executing "playerdarts--" client-side.

O.o ok thanks everyone. I tried it using triggeraction, and it worked. But i was thinking, why would you want this to be a serverside action? It would be easier in the first place and it only affects one player. You would have to call actionserverside then use the with commands with yourself, it seems out of order.

O.O I heard from a lot of people that actionserverside was hackable, although I don't know or see how.

That's becouse a lot of lame people with jobs on servers all over wrote triggeractions to the control npc that were easy to use and kinda standardized. Thus re-implementing clientside manipulation of the variables.
