Hello all..

Lookin for some scripters to join our team for Azeroth Playerworld. So far im the only scripter, and im needin some help

I would just love to show off content, but we arnt doingt that so.. cant do. But I will let you know we have something good cookin here. hehe.

Anyways, back to the Scripter needed part..

Im lookin for someone who has a good talent in scripting. Im not gonna ask you to send me your stuff so I can review it, but rather just talk to me on AIM or send me a PM.

Requirements
- NPC Server
- Serverside/Clientside understanding
- Full array/string understanding
- All graal variables and prefix understanding

Basically lookin for someone whos good.. lol

Thanx Spark.. Well.. I will give off details.. only

Basically.. 1800 level overworld done.. our tileset is really well done, not quite finished tho. Its about 80% done I would say.

We are making all custom graphics, and all unique and made in our own style. We are planning it out to be RP Playerworld. But not forced. Just trying to figure out a way to work that out.

Also, just to keep people up to date with us, once we get online to start setting our Playerworld up. We will be doing a draw every 2 weeks to let 10 players in for the day to browse our content.

No screenshots tho

I doubt they will unless some decent scripter (as if there is any left that are helping anyone) would offer to help but not without screenshots.

Im talking to my staff about showing off a bit of it..

Its just, id really much rather no one see it intill its fully done and ready for play. Cuz then it would be just so much more of a surpize you know.

And the overworld is truely amazing. Our map isnt loaded with our tileset yet, so it looks like plain old graal. But once our tileset is loaded with it, and we build the map.. damn.. :P

I might show off a bit of the map, and a few of our tiles. We have pretty much remade everything on pics1.png to our own style. The cathedral really is something XD

Also, anyone that becomes staff will obviously get to see everything. And our site will be done shortly after today, still workin on it x.x

Ok, here is a simple graphics example. I added one of our best tile examples the Cathedral. And the rest are just simple "indoor" house tiles.

I dont really want to post to much stuff, cuz it would ruin the release of our Playerworld.

Wow awesome graphics. That alone should be enough to get a good NAT. Assuming they're willing to work on upcomming pw's. Alot of people dont like doing that. But those are some awesome graphics.

1800 levels made in a month? wtf?
Did you use a terrain generator for that or just bs'ing and have lots of blank levels?

I like the graphics though. Very nice!

Makin me wanna show off the map.. but im not a weak person! So im not gonna! :P

But no.. its not all blank levels for your information. Id say.. this is a estimate by the way.. about 1700 of the 1800 are all finished and ready to go. The rest are blank, and some are black.

Thee other manager WanDaMan (Voted #1 Lat on Graalforums) can produce like 20 GOOD levels a day. So this is no concern really.

Right now im testing our Scripts on Rudora's NPC Server to make sure they are NPC Server Compliant. And I have hired a Storyline/Roleplaying Administrator who is writing our story line, and setting up the Role Playing base.

See, we are trying to figure out conflicts. Cuz no one has EVER had a sucsessful playerworld with RP/Non RP in the same realm. So we are trying to find out ways that it can be done.

Cuz I dont want to FORCE Roleplaying. Cuz I mean, what if we make this amazing playerworld.. no players. We would be screwd. So I want to make sure we can have BOTH types of players, in the same realm were they can co-exist.

Besides the fact I am rather suspicious as to you who can make graphics like that, who has never posted here before or made himself known, it looks good if they weren't stolen from somewhere. I like the graphics on the website to, hopefully also made by one of your graphics people.

I know quite a few people who could make graphics near that quality who dont post on the forums. Alot of people feel its a waste of there time to post here. Same with scripters I know one guy who is even compairable to Kaimetsu who never posts here.

Well I have 2 main graphics staffers. I got Emi (ShardsOfFeathers) and I got Serecide.

But I just found out that Emi might be leaving our playerworld for Oasis :grrr: :grrr:

And for the Website graphics they are made by myself. And I dont take any credit in making them... the sig only took me 5 minutes to make, and the 2 title images on the site aswell only took about 10 minutes. So dont look at me as some graphics god, cuz im not :P

I just do the scripting around this playerworld, and cook up all the ideas.

Maybe it is copywritten material, definitely not by you though. Especially since I know for a fact at least half of the overworld is/has been online at one point. The other parts from Tension I'm not sure how you got that, and one part seems to be vaguely familiar although I can't pinpoint exactly where it came from.

Actually yes they have. Cynical is up right now. Part of that map is from a partially detailed cynical. Top left is from Tension. I know because Genesis showed it to me when he wanted feedback on it.
The bottom left is Andor . The parts on the right look familiar. I thought it was Krynn or BL, but I can't say if those parts are for sure. The left and middle I know I'm right on.

What you're doing is not fair for other playerworlds that work hard to get levels done. :/

Edit: I apologize about the map. Sorry for posting it, but still using a tileset to cover up the levels is not right.

Do you see any tileset code in there? NO. Our map is built with pics1.png. And I will be willing to PROVE that to any Graalonline staff.

Indeed you are correct. That WAS andor. Now how in the hell is this wrong? I spent a month making andor? ME. I did that back in the year of 2000. Who Owned and operated Andor when it was online? ME and Brandon from Bravo. So dont even try that. And I am aware of the PW rules, all of andors levels are being RE-EDITED to make them look better. Wich means IT IS ALLOWD to be online.

Left Side
That was.. Rapture. Wich was Owned and made by WanDaMan, and some others. Im not aware of WHO all did the levels for that. But I do know that Wan has premission to do so. And Also, they are ALL being edited.

Top Snow bit
That was made by MysticalDragons little brother Twist. And all the levels that are from that and down, and to the right were ALL made by us. Wan even showd me the Generated map when he did it the first day about a month ago. And we started building on that, then added Rapter and Andor to the left of it.

Now, hear me out. I dont understand how this is so wrong? Nemesis has seen the map, we explained this to him. So you are just wasting your time, and bothering myself. I am quite ticked about this. If you somehow ruin my playerworld, heh.. ya..

Also, if anything.. you are only ruining this for everyone else in the graal community. Graal needs this playerworld, aswell as all the other GOOD playerworlds coming out. Hear me out, im not trying to say that my Playerworld is all mighty. But it will serve a good purpose..

Tension was renamed to Rapture. Genesis has always been manager for it.
Since you are using some of your old Andor levels shouldn't it be considered a remake or something?
I assumed you were you using that tileset that was posted earlier in the thread. If you're not using it, then why did you post it?

That was graphics preview...

Our tileset is still being made.. all we got done so far is all the grass, water, house tiles and some of the mountain tiles. We have alot of the smaller stuff done like the fences and posts, and the tomb stones and what not.

And about the Cynical, I have no idea what you are talking about. Have him msg me on aim persay? So I can see what the hell you are talking about.. cuz I do not know..

you do know that you only get 2 weeks in private to finnish up... i doubt you could make the tileset, and re-do parts of a 1800 overworld server in 2 weeks

You said you made those web graphics in 5-15 minutes. The best I know would take at least 30-1:30 to make graphics like those. It is not POSSIBLE unless you stole them.

The shading in that sword and the web graphics is flawless, and you have proven to me by your statement that with the time it took it is not possible to have flawless shading. You might as well admit it.

The shading in that sword and the web graphics is flawless, and you have proven to me by your statement that with the time it took it is not possible to have flawless shading. You might as well admit it.

A lot of people say they "made" a graphic if they took other graphics and gradients and some text in photoshop, adjust the transparency a little, and wham. "look at this sig i made" He never said it was completely original art. Even a further possiblitiy that he made the sword and other parts in the past and used them here from a file...
