well today i was walking around 2k2, having some fun, working some, so, like clockwork im about to starve so i go to the smithee just near unstick me to use that bed, since i was going to craft in a bit

and the idiot Clueless comes and starts attacking me which i cant do much about b/c he was just too fast for me, then he pinned me in the bed, after 5 minutes of trying to fight back, and only killing him once, now my stats (see pic below)


something seriously needs to be done about the pking problem, Stefan and Unixmad, you want a RP server?? well pking is ruining the whole deal, most people i talk to hate it


and if you must have it, make it so you wont lose your stats for crying out loud, i could see stat loss when fighting monsters, but not because some 12 year old idiot feels that they have accomplished something when the can pin someone in a corner and kill them over and over

You said yourself its RPing, whats the RP logic behind lowering stats, ie you are now weaker because you killed someone.

They could make an enforcement system for "murderous criminals" or something of the like.

you know your gonna get pissed if you get killed by someone, even more so if you have lots of exp


and then getting trapped and have your stats lowered to 1, now you feel like RPing??

just disable player pking, or atleast the stat loss from it, it just pisses everyone off

PKing is fine, but being killed (by anything) shouldn't make you lose stats.
Or EXP-being killed by monsters should make you lose EXP-but not 1/5!

Being in a bed should make you invincible

PKing is annoying. Stat lowering makes the game impossible. Insane prices make things unbuyable. Insanly high EXP tnls make the game boring.

AND THAT IS WHY I AM WAITING FOR THEM TO FIX G2K2.

PK'ing will not become an issue once the kingdom isles are released. Right now, I must admit, there is not a whole otn of RP'ing going on yet but there soon will be which means less PK'ing

all items are BUILT INTO the mudlib, so i cannot make any changes to them using NC

They need to make some area's non-pkable. Like in the mines or in the blacksmith, because people are doing imporant work.

i distinctly remember me attempting to ask you to stop

atleast 5 times asking you to please stop, stop dude, etc, etc
but you just wouldn't stop now would you, i usually dont get so pissed because most of the time people stop, but you had to be an ******* about it, which made me start cursing

They should make it so if you hit a player once, you are PKable but if you do not hit players for atleast 5 minutes you should be invincible to PKers

I do agree.
Losing stats when you die is annoying and especially when someone kills you like the way screen_name has been.

I still think losing stats on death should be removed.
Losing experiance is okay but you shouldn't be able to go lower than the amount needed for your previous level.

rofl, sounds like you got molested.

Here is a good solution to the stat loss thing. Have the player lose stats after being killed like 5-10 times. So for each 5 deaths, you lose some stats. Instead of every death.

Plus there definitely needs to be ways to protect yourself from attacks. (cloaks, magic defense fields, amulets, something) From low level players or high level players.. or something like that.

It would suck if PKing was removed, but it would be better if PKing had penalties, or you could prevent it, or something.

I hate Graal 2002 because of that. Why not have police that moniter the area and if you kill they cuff you and walk you to jail. Kinda like providence in the old days, now that is a rping server.
