He then switched to the account "Rone" with the nickname "NPC Moderator" and changed it to "Rone" quickly...I then asked him about it and he said that he had sold his account to someone....

Thing is, starting nicknames are sent to the server. Hehe. And no accounts are linked in any way, even if they're owned by the same player. The only link is the player.
