When did I do that? I didn't stop anybody from voicing their opinion. I have no control over that. If you're talking about Neonight, I deleted his post because he called me a "****ing retard" for really no reason.

We have inherent worth to our own society and culture, and, possibly, in the future, if we ever invent faster-then-light travel or a way to bend the stars, we may even effect other races and cultures, for better or worse.

Although, in the grand scale of thing, our worth in the universe could be scaled as around 0.0000000000000000000000 etc. etc. 1. While we don't have an impact on something that can destroy the universe or change the very laws of physics, we have an impact on ourselves and our culture, which is good enough for me, personally. I might as well enjoy my pathetic existance as best I can.

And that starts with waffles.

A flower isn't beautiful by nature, it's only given that attribute when a person decides that he likes it. And even then, the beauty is completely contained inside the person's head. The flower is just a bunch of atoms and suchlike - it may have significance to us but from an objective standpoint it's just a hunk of matter.
You are correct on these points.

We have no worth except to ourselves, and our opinions of ourselves have no worth except to ourselves, and our opinions of our opinions of... You get the idea. The only place human beings have any worth is in the place within their heads, and that doesn't even exist.
Of course. No one could care less what I do or what Bob does or what Msdflkjil the alien does. Only the people on this planet care about what I do. Is there anything wrong with humans accomplishing small steps on their own world and feeling proud of it?

No, it's only natural to do small things and at least *think* you are doing good. It's only human nature.
