I believe you should look more into that website you're getting this info from fender.

Some people mistakenly think that God is the type to abandon them, and that their troubles are caused by that very thing. That is, of course, a falsehood, but the image still serves to remind those who feel that way that God does care about us and continues to grieve with us, even though He allowed the tragedy to happen.

we should not get all "religious" when bad things happen. we should be all the time so when this stuff happens, we have a strong foundation of faith
