Even then, it's not exactly prejudice. I hate people who kick me in the back, but I'm not prejudiced against them. Prejudice is an impersonal hatred, formed without full evidence. Racists might hate black people simply because they are different, for example, without knowing what that person is like. But if I hate a person for being a racist then that's a valid decision because their racism reflects on their character. It may not be a perfect criterion but at least it has some bearing on their true personalities, unlike something as arbitrary as skin colour.
