I'm a rebel, drew these from nothing. >

I havent pixeled much at all...

I did a load of stuff for npulse awhile ago, and I heard aly is recently banned. Might make them all free-tiles/show them all off with her say-so.

Hey Elk, you're an art director aren't you? I'm interested to know what your thoughts are on this (if you have any that is):

It just seems a little counter-productive since my limited understanding of art is such that it your work should be spontaneous and imaginative, and refusing to draw from imagination defeats the purpose (unless you're drawing from life, like a portrait or something)

I would think the only situation that no imagination should be involved in art is perhaps when you're trying to draw from a real source? In which case that barely helps.

Regardless, awesome to hear about your school education Aeko

i think "they" are saying it from a economical driven point of view, to copy off others, because thats what most people do nowadays, they look at so many references and arn't really staying original, if "they" are so less imaginative, then so be it, but if one has the potential to visualize and put the imagination into reality, thats even better to stand out

originality can be dangerous, since you may or may not know the reaction from others, if you use something existing that already had positive response, then the layman might aswell be deceived...

what "they" are trying to make out of you, is a productive copy machine with illustrational skills i believe...

These tilesets were commissioned from me by Ducati. I was promised before I made them that if I spent so much time on them and she ever stopped developing/couldn't develop/stuff that I could make them free for use, as I don't want to see them go unused o-o...

SO...here they are. Free for use to anyone.

I really like the style, its all so simple and clean...unlike my stuff.

Edit: I just noticed the bathtub with the rubber duckies and I think that's my favorite part.
