no because graal2002 is run on a seperate client.
-No modern day stuff like trains cars etc boats are fine as long as they dont have motors
- New instruments like bagpipes (oh yeah)
- No invincible kingdoms like dustari and crap
- No pause
- New swimming thing like when there in water they can go underwater and haveto hold there breath
- New weapons like a crossbow
- New currency maybe?
- PIKMIN (j/k)
- Realistic bows
- Siege Towers
- Better staff that actually listens (aka get ridda some people i wont post the names)
- New sword fighting system
- New Shield System
- Armor (dfferent types of em like bronze steel etc)
- Guild Emblems

1) Trading routes
Kingdoms should be able to build trading caravans that transport goods back and forth from Kingdom markets. This way they can trade some wood to make boats for some iron or metals to make armor and weapons. However, the trading carts can be ambushed by other people so you will need to guard them

2)Seige equipment
I know Godspeed already added Trebuchets, but heavy weapons like battering rams should not be an NPC. People should have to get inside them (maybe 3 or 4 people) and actually control the battering ram. Seige onagers (those massive rock throwing things) should also be controlled by a few players and not just be controlled by one player or be an NPC. It would be a good idea to make it a job to load rocks on a onager (maybe 3 or 4 hits of the d kay would load one rock on the catapult). Scorpions (large arrows that fire at masses) should also be developed

3) Weapon durability
Your weapon should be able to be destroyed in battle. This way it adds realism and a blacksmith now has a job, he has to repair broken equipment

4) Bloodlines and archers ring
Small peices of equipment like an archers ring should increase accuracy to the target and increase damage. Bloodlines should be added to saddles to increase effeciency too

5) Churches
There should be a church amongst every kingdom, and churches can generate a small amount of revenues for players. If a chuirch happens to find a relic then the people would be insipired to donate materials towards the churches cause

o i forgot some stuff how about like jewelry and stuff you know like amulets and earings and junk

and maybe like classe not classes but you can practice a certain area of work and then you would have like speacial weapons fo different levels of a class

Graal 2002 - A perfect land where all peope, are PKers and none gets rich! Lol If all places are PK areas then in cities there shuld be like NPC Police that hunts PKers within cities and put them in Jail! Otherwise there will be chaos and PKin all over the land and it won't be fun!

Real Police will be assigned like Chief jobs...

I liked the Trading transfer idea...

Look at age of empires 2 and you'll get some more ideas, then look at Heros of Might and Magic you get soe more...

There should be different religions or something though this thing can be ummm rasistic!

I'll post if I get any more ideas...

Swords should be able to break (this will stop pking a lot)
After they break you have to get enough minerals to craft another sword.

and u can make diffrent swords with different minerals. depending on wat minerals u used depends on its streangth

To stress upon the guild idea what about an npc so anyone can have ANY tag? That way you can start a group of bandits or whatever whenever you want. Kind of like the npc at graaloween..

Like the sword idea, if Stefan decides to have the house building idea, they should make it so you need different materials to build different kinds of houses. After a while, from weather and stuff house starts to become weaker etc so that you have to rebuild it over time and update it to keep it looking nice. I dont know if they are going to have the house building thing up though.

Safer item transferring. Like EverQuest, you don't have to drop the item at all, it takes you to a trade screen and you can trade whatever you want.

I love the trading route idea. The kingdoms can transfer goods say on a wagon or something from market to their castle or whatever, and they can be ambushed on the way there and thier goods can be stolen. Its really realistic.

how about like if you ambush it you get all the stuff thats on it and you can buy a transport if you arnt in a guild to and become like a roving merchant and every kingdom should have a huge town and then smaller towns that arnt owned

and when you to block stuff using your shield you have to push a certain key. if you do it at the right time you can block the attack.

I don't really like to play MUds or MUSHs where the whole thing is based off a book. Plus I don't really read Dragonlance. I'm very happy with the one I am on right now.

No!
Blacksmiths as a profession should craft the sword, not you. You don't see men at arms in the shop forging their own swords or halberdiers sharpening their pikes, the blacksmiths do it

If its going to be a rp server then at least have classes! How many rp games have you seen without classes? Count them. Itll be a very low number.
When the person chooses the class they get a tag. Not a bracket tag () but a different tag. eg. Bob the evil [mage]
Then if they were in a kingdom
eg. Bob the evil [mage] (evilpeoplekingdom)

Dont make 50 different classes though *cough* certain server I cant remember the name of *cough*

Also dont let classes start with all their weapons. Thats just stupid. Make them work for them. Have an experience system. Level system. Training system. Some kind of system.

Classes you should have (common well known ones)

1. Warrior (sword and shield stuff)
2. Mage (dark magic)
3. Sorceror (light magic)
4. Thief [maybe] - (sneaky things)
5. Elf (Long range stuff. Especialy bows)

These are the main ones used in most rp games. So thats only 4-5 which isnt bad.
Also change the MP system so you can get more than 100 mp. Make it go upto something like 500 mp but it only starts off as something like 50 mp and you have to fight baddies, do quests and so on.

Also max classes have distinct advantages/disadvantages.

Warrior - Highest level sword and shield. No magic at all. Weapons that can be used on horse (eg. spear)

Mage - Lots of offensive magic. No defensive. No shield. Low to average level sword.

Sorceror - Lots of defensive magic. No offensive. No shield. Low to average level sword.

Thief - Average level sword and shield. No magic. Has theif skills (lock picking. Camoflauge [Camoflauge should come off when they attack a player.])

Elf - Average level sword and shield. No magic. Long range weapons. Wide variety.

Class meters.

Warrior - None.
Mage - Magic - self explanitory
Sorceror -Magic - self explanitory
Thief - Skills -they have a set number of times they can use each skill before they have to recharge them. Starts off as 1-3 and raises to 20 or something.
Elf - Depends. If its some kind of bow or something along them lines then its supplies (can be bought or made). For other weapons not requiring supplies there is none.

I could go into more detail but id be here a while.

Classes absolutely suck.. if you're a mage you can't be anything but a mage, and that gets tiring.. or if you're a warrior you can't do magic.. that would just suck.. I have a deep hatred for classes.

If it's going to be an RP server , then I think the shops and things should be run by normal players and when they are not online the shops are closed , and to get stuff to sell I.E. an armor shop they have to go and order it at the blacksmith and pay them money and then sell it more expensive , I would like that , also I love the idea that you can get level up's and put skillpoints in diffrent skills in a skill tree menu like in diablo also you should be able to equip your character with shoes , gaunlet's , helms , armors , shields , belt's and swords and you should be able to make your own and combine with diffrent things that you find in quests and things , so you can get ub33r magic armors , and things..

Upgraded and better armor clothes would be good,
like Samurai could get Samurai armor etc...
also make it so even if your not in a kingdom,
you can be a civilian or follower of that kingdom,
or maybe even you could be a Ronin,
which is a masterless Samurai blah blah blah etc
