Gk forest tree.

Anyway tell me what you think, they are for chris's kingdom forest, he wanted the leaves blue so dont complain about that. Btw I used gmax and some other tools to make this =) <3 3D ness..

is it just me or do the leaves not look like leaves? at a glance it looks nice, but if you look at it, it looks like scraps of blue tin foil that's been crinkled up a bit o.O the trunk looks pretty darn good I must say

That tree is nice, personally, I don't like the GK GUI, it doesn't seem to blend with me.

Personally I prefer cartoonish style over realism, but it's good anyway.
I like the coloring, sort of shocks the eye the first time you look at it.

Guess the only thing I can complain about is that it looks a little flat against the ground, but that could easily be fixed.

Yeah, you just described how every other tree on GK looks, lol

It looks real nice, donald. I especially like the grey trunk, and how it doesn't branch out into stupid roots like the others do

Personally I think it looks to flat... I think you would've been better off using a generic g2k2 style tree trunk then adding your leaves... Doesn't Stefan make his with some crazy fractal thingy?

dude.. you cant generate char sprites with any effects from photoimpact or whatever x_X.. u kinda need some talent 2. the program dosent do the gfx you know =/ the artist is.

Anyways, the trunks design is okay. It looks sort of like those pertrified trees though, kind of monochrome if you ask me. Maybe make it more brown? Though I guess maybe it's an ice tree, hence the blue leaf pattern? I'm not a fan of the g2k2 graphics my self, so I can't really provide you with constructive critisism.

Well, for pixel art yes. But not all art is possible in ms paint. I see your point though, skill > program.

Actually most of the art I do, I use a size 1 brush and I use black and white to add detail onto the shape I am working on. Its kind of like pixel art only in pixel art you use less colors on purpose to try to make something.

You still try to use a certain technique (spelling?) to make the sort of texture you want like in pixel art only without limiting colors.
