Server Ideas

XD, here is a thread of ideas for servers, use these if you want.

Farming Server
A server based mainly on farming, where you start off and you do jobs and stuff, have fun, rp, and farm a little, then later you can buy land, then build you a farm and it could have HM style farming and events and stuff o_o


Gaming server
A server all about events, games, and all that would be nice, it could have awesome fun NPC's, fairs, tons of ET's hosting events, and lots of arcades.

A Modern RP server
A modern rp server, only guns handgun and shotgun, everything else RP and stuff o_o


Scary Server

Hmm, gozelda created some sort of thing that looked like 3d games, it would take alot of time, but it would be fun if someone made a 3d server, with that kind of view where you shoot monsters and stuff, or any server with that kinda view Gozelda made.


Scary, Gothic, Twisted fantasy server

All time best, a server with it's own tileset, that is a twisted gothic like fantasy server, with awesome graphics and 3d terrain like GK, but the graphics can be spooky, dark, and creepy like on silent hill 3, and it could have creepy outfits and a feeling like that on Clock tower 3.


Just ideas for people who want to start a server, but don't know what to base it on, or basically just servers that would rock

My friend drew out maps for a mansion and what was in every room and what monsters you faced in each. A Resident Evil type of thing..I was going to make it as an offline single player game for Graal..but I lost the maps a long time ago

Heh, it would be nice to have a total creepy fantasy server, that has a mansion and has that creepy feel like on SH3, or CT3.

That would be really hard to intimidate on Graal without someone who can make really detailed and spooky tilesets (bloo kat comes to mind)...And you'd need good scripters to make all of the effects, like fog, walls bleeding (neat idea o.O, and the walls pulsating (all like in SH3). Then you'd need really eerie music and sound effects. So you'd need very skilled people in every developmental aspect to make a well done 'survival horror' type server.

But, that gives me an idea..It would be neat to make a (if anyone has played it) Hunter: The Reckoning style server. You kill undead creatures (zombies, spiders, rats, creepy bosses, etc.), but you only use weapons and spells and level up. That would fit.

I'd like the ruined-future type servers. You know, ruined buildings, swords, guns, crossbows, blah blah. Think something like the Vampire Hunter D universe.

all the sudden you go up to a car, and a dead person comes out with a knife chasing you, you have no weapon so all you can do is hide, you head for a small alley down the street, only to find more undead rotting corpses chasing you.

Bloo wants to make Era like that, a ruined place with mutants because of some acid in a lab, but he's not manager, and + graal would not accept it. Even though GK has tons of blood. .

Isn't Tribulation going to be like that? All spooky and have like demons,monsters,ghosts,etc like everywhere??? I think it will be something like that from the discription.

Actually Tribulation was brought to a hault :X
Madmartigan let me use it as a dev server now, but I'm planning on making a "Horror" type server as well with it

Me too, but mine is going to be wear you just find a few weapons, very weak only good for stunning weapons, and then all who play will be stuck in this mansion, wich will be all of them in a nightmare, i dunno how i can fit RP in it though.

That would be great, telling from your style of art and making messed up creatures in the Graphics Forum, I'd bet you can make some really neato ghoulies for such a server ;

After thinking about it, it wouldn't be too farfetched to try and add a few spins to it, such as Fatal Frame where all you have as a weapon is a camera. Hm, maybe you can kill creatures with regular weapons (such as handguns, or whatever you want the time-period to be..), then go to a science lab and turn the blood you collect into some kind of potion, then you can turn into the creatures for a set amount of time when you drink them.

Resident Evil type server would be awesome with zombies chasing after you and stuff....If Era converted to that kind of deal I would definently play there or if any playerworld made a server like that. Oh well I doubt it will happen though because people don't have motivation anymore from what I see.

For that type of playerworld, I could picture running around with the arrow keys, and aiming your crossbow with your mouse.

Sure it is, but not about the same topic, you maibe doesnt look at forums well that isnt my problem

But, uh i'm sorry if i'm making too many, but really, wow i made a thread with server ideas, no one but you complained, and Myomoto, sure they are, i mean i thought up of having those on a server, so

Anyways, yes that would rock, but weapons suck, games with weapons aren't really scary, i mean you get tons of weapons. all you do is hit a button, there dead, whoo scary, what's scary is when all you can do is run and hide, and the only weapon you have only stuns them.

You're like the only one complaining. This thread was perfectly fine until you commented here. You do know that it's harassment to go around every post she makes and yell at her, right? I've seen you doing it in countless threads. Just lay off of her already.

It's not like she's making pointless threads. She's trying to help out the community and the playerworlds by giving out ideas and stuff. Obviously since 99% of the playerworlds suck terribly, it can't be that bad to let her give ideas.

Honestly, I'm getting tired of having to defend her, but she isn't as highly respected as some people here, and I just hate seeing people run off new forum members, especially when they have potential to be good for the community.

What the ****? You like being a *****? He said somone before you came to the forums was making a server with a farming theme. I pointed out that Trevor and I were making that, and we were his reference.

Besides, after telling you just one idea of the "horror" theme I had and you decided to use it after I told you, I dont plan on doing that genre of a server.

i remember on valikorlia when you could be a farmer and get your own land. and then you had to like grow money trees. or zealat trees or something.

Kind of, we have a really cool battle system that you guys will love too. I'm making animated graphics for monsters etc also so WOOYAY


Edit: I also think it would be cool to have a prehistoric server. Where we are cavemen/cavewomen and we can ride pteyrodactyls and t-rexes etc, i just thought it would be really cool, if I can keep this idea in my head, maybe i will make it
I already have a vision of what the pteryodactyl will look like lol
