Ok, I had a problem like this a while back when i first got Windows XP.

Here is what you need to check. Before you load the serverlist and all that, go into your audio options and turn all the volumes to 0. Log on to a server, if it works fine, turn all the volumes back up a little. If this restarts your computer, chances are your problem is bass.dll I found that the absolute newest version of bass.dll caused this problem for me. When I installed a slightly older version of it, it worked fine.

Here is the version of bass.dll that works for me. Use it to overwrite your copy of bass.dll. It will either be in your graal folder or in your system folder.

Also, it'd be a good idea to disable automatic restarts, you're automatically restarting because XP is set default to reboot on Blue Screens.

Go to System (Rickclick My Computer -> Properties).

Change to the Advanced tab,

look for Startup and Recovery, hit Settings.

Uncheck Automatically Restart.

Hit Ok.

You're set
