Plus yet again... another server has stolen from Era (tilesets)

Remember Kuji from Era? I think its his server. Anyways the whole gun theme was ok for like 1 or 2 servers but now multiple servers with it? No. Thats retarded and its all the same.

Edit: But I wanna see their guns!! D: Hopefully they will match up to Era's or better

They also threatin you when you pk them. I go pk the staff and they go don't pk staff. And I said I dont see any rules up so you should put them up so I know next time. And hes aruging with me. And then goes, ok fine no rules and puts on his lame staff boots and starts pking me.

I dislike Era enough, having a gang-related style on a medieval RPG, but to copy the style of an original server, that is just pathetic. Look at Bravo, Bravo was never the style that it is now, and all they want is players, so they change to the new popular style...

Well graal 2002 and classic may be this. But playerworlds were made to create a different style, and allow players to get into graal more and make graal the way they wanted, so PWs can be any which way, within reason.

And yes stealing the style and way of a PW is pointless.

Actually, I did go on the server, its horrifying, they stole from Era and should be shut down for it, now they dont allow anyone on the server but staff because they know it sucks so bad :P

I think if a pw breaks rules or whatnot and needs to be shut down and have paid, they should get 50% of their money back. It seems to be the most reasonable thing.

Or have like a point system. Every mistake they make, a point gets taken off. They should be warned that there PW will get shut down sometime before the last point is taken off, which will lead to them getting there PW cancelled.

No, I disagree...they know the rules...the fact that a server would steal graphics, and put it up knowing it is against the rules should make any kind of refund void

People have development skills in this post. And we know a good server from a bad one. We've been playing Graal.

We're not blind because we cant make ganis or levels or what ever. We can still think and see. And what we see are stolen gfx, horrible levels, horrible tileset, and a horrible theme.

No... Horrible is a word which places items on a scale. The Scale can be like Worse < Bad < Ok etc. Nor is it a harassment thread. It's criticism. And it's a director. It points out that Graal X is stealing gfx.

You don't have to have development skills to make judgements on what looks good or is right. They've obviously done some wrong things such as stealing graphics and tiles, so I don't see why non-development people can't comment on that.

Do you see anywhere where it says if you steal someone elses stuff, and get shut down, you will get a refund? In fact, do you see anywhere that you will get a refund for the server being shut down for any reason? The only reasons a PW would be shut down would be for corruption (stealing, severe abuse, etc....), or if the Manager had it removed for some reason. Either way, I dont see where they should get a refund at all. If I recall the rules clearly state that you cannot use levels, graphics, and so on from another server, correct? Saying anyone who does this and gets shut down deserves a refund is rediculous

I'm not sure it should be as severe, it could get to that level if needed, but I'd think maybe a 6 month suspension would teach them a lesson and to anyone else that wants to steal, just because they did something wrong, doesn't mean they should automatically get the worst punishment.

Expesially since it's only been up for about a week.

Both are organized groups of people who have similar goals or common interests. I know this without even needing to look in a dictionary. The only thing that possibly makes them different is that gang is usually meant in a negative way. Other than that, they are just synonyms.

it not only decides on the description from a dictionary, but how it is expressed in a server.. in era, there is way more unity in "gangs" then from any other server. They are different in this case, the gangs in era stick together way more and are against everyone that isn't an ally...

Out of Era's gangs there are guilds which are way more diverse, they'll wear the tag and have guild wars and such, but they are not against everyone that doesn't wear the guilds tag.

You can't just go by a defined word in the dictionary, there are more things that decifer the end result of the simularities and differences from guild to gang.

In this case, I would have to say that a gang and a guild are different. In another one, they could be exactly the same.
