Sparring isn't the best kind of event, as those already high up get even stronger - even if you limit it to "weak" players.

And for newbies having it harder - I crafted all my tools - scythe, pickaxe, lumber axe, pliers, peg, saddle, etc etc, by myself. Now I see people massing "buying saddle" or "buying pickaxe." While a saddle is easy to craft, it sure is harder to get a pickaxe as it requires quite a few irons and stuff to be kicked out of rocks. Still, these masses show one thing in my opinion: people are lazy. It's not too hard to get it, and doing so can be fun. What's the game worth if you just sit and buy everything? And that isn't the "unfair" server's fault, but the player's. So don't whine to get a reset, but work hard and have fun.

By the way - the way I see it, you get less and less exp from the same monster when you level up. Given that the amounts of exp required to level raises, too, one day we will all be at the same level, just mathmatically speaking
