Council Idea??

Why do we need a council? I don't quite think there needs to be one... but nonetheless one is being created. I think that you should not choose people because you're friends with them, but because you actually think they'd be good. I think I would be a good candidate (but I'm baised ) but I won't bore you with why. Don't vote for someone because you think they're cool or you know them, vote because they would make Graal better!

I have a VERY good reason for that! Some of the PW managers are VERY corrupt, and don't know what they're doing. Like Manta, current manager of UN< cool guy, friend of mine, but I don't think he's cut out for that kind of thing =/ Plus, since they're in charge of what PW's go up, and which come down, it wouldn't be proper.

Just because they're server owners doesn't mean they're not (as stated before) corrupt / dumb, ignorant .. PWA's are much better , stop changing graal so much unixmad, changes usually , well ONLY becomes good when people really want the changes to occur, how about that eh? how about you listen to people before you do something eh ? Also its a corny name

EDIT: I can't assume that you haven't asked people, but some people never knew anything and some people dont like it, and I haven't seen any post about it saying for example "considering a make a council, comment" or something, ah well, im typing too much.....

It doesn't matter if you like the idea anymore, it seems to be in the process of being created =/ And you DO need unasked for changes sometimes... without them you would still have crappy stuff. No one really asked for 2k2 or anything, or new armor and all stuff, but it's there to make it BETTER.

He obviously thought that this would invest more faith into Graalians, like his previous announcements about May 1st changes, and how all those goodies would be promised to us. It seems as though he has failed this time.

I seriously hope he didn't actually think we was going to make this council, I'd thought he'd be smart enough to find out that the system has extreme flaws, especially after hiring 2 new gm's within 2 days!

Yes Manta fools around with npc features like the one that can edit your gani. He also gooves off by copying everybody's nick, outfit, and sometimes your guild tag. Its very ignoring. LoL the co-manager hires all his friends and such. Not very good for Unholy Nation eh?

anyway this whole council idea is dumbassed, unless unixmad will impose an age limit (say >18 years of age) it will end up being 14-15 year old kids controlling the GMs who HAVE to be at least 18

yakuna and warcaptain arent managers anymore... I think letting the managers decide is a bad idea, NONE of them can agree unless its to there own personal gain, when I had access to the manager forum (I use to be comanager of providence), all they did was ***** fight and the only post they agreed on was 'playerworld managers should get free access to the graal communication center'

The PW managers would pick either one of two people
1) Someone who is easy and will cleave to their consent every single time
2) Someone who knows they will fight for them for almost everything.

This is my opinion on things, though it could be wrong.

What is this? I am not badmouthing the council. I'm saying I think the whole idea is a bit out of place at the moment, but means I still have to live with it. I think parts of the legal system are wrong, doesn't mean I will ignore it. I think I could make a difference. Just because I don't think it's the greatest idea doesn't mean I can't want to contribute and make Graal better =/

Unixmad could barely put his thoughts into English on the post, yet he wants to make a council?

Sorry, but you all know that it's true.

I doubt he'll ever have enough time to find anyone reliable in the graal world to be on the council; it won't work, it can't.

And until he realizes it can't, no more pw's will go up because he'll insist they go through the un-made council.

I agree , people who vote or nominate themselves are not secure in their own postion and lack self confidence in themselves , not a good choice indeed.
