Well, that's some of the stupidest logic I've ever seen, not to mention the most innacurate. The French did indeed have cannons throughout the 100 Years War, however primitive they were by today's standards. There's a bit of controversy over the topic, but the popular mentality on the subject is that cannons were both too inaccurate, unwieldy and weak to be of any real use in battle, and were probably quite rare. They were most likely used primarily for shows of force, rather than intended to be of any real use as a siege weapon. After all, an iron ball was not going to do a whole lot of damage against a stone wall ten to fifteen feet thick.

However, what I really want to know is where anyone got the idea in their head that cannonballs explode upon impact. What the hell are you thinking?

This is entire conversation is pointless, however, as, at is has already been stated, we know for a fact cannons will be in 2k2. The graphics are already in your ganis folder, if you care to look for yourself.
