ummm i think like they should make cannons and each kigndoms get like 4 or soemthing and some high rank/trusted people can drag the cannon to battles and use it to fight and it's like excatly like the bow with the same aiming thing and other kigndoms can try and steal it and stuff and cannon balls does like 10 damage if the explodsion hits you and the explodsion should be like 3 inch by 3 inches thick or soemthing k and the kigndoms have to make cannon balls with iron and gun powder

Umm you should really think about stuff before you put them on here k cuz ur liek not even estimating the damage right on the cannon k cuz usux lel cuz the dmg shud b 30 kguy usuck

mebbe they shud be abal to hit castel walz n stuff cuz they would like go down and they cen go thru it hahrlel

Well, that's some of the stupidest logic I've ever seen, not to mention the most innacurate. The French did indeed have cannons throughout the 100 Years War, however primitive they were by today's standards. There's a bit of controversy over the topic, but the popular mentality on the subject is that cannons were both too inaccurate, unwieldy and weak to be of any real use in battle, and were probably quite rare. They were most likely used primarily for shows of force, rather than intended to be of any real use as a siege weapon. After all, an iron ball was not going to do a whole lot of damage against a stone wall ten to fifteen feet thick.

However, what I really want to know is where anyone got the idea in their head that cannonballs explode upon impact. What the hell are you thinking?

This is entire conversation is pointless, however, as, at is has already been stated, we know for a fact cannons will be in 2k2. The graphics are already in your ganis folder, if you care to look for yourself.

...they are. It's not a new idea, Stefan had it before you knew what a cannon was It'll be in ports, and we'll be able to fire it at enemy ships and what not.

LOL, Cannons do not = Guns.

Cannons were around before guns, as a cannon was huge and a hell of a lot easier to make than a gun. Guns were too complex for that period of time. With a cannon you just had a big metal ball, get sent through the air from a blast of gunpowder. With a gun, you have a small handheld weapon that you put smaller balls in, and you have to ignite it much like a cannon, however they didn't have crafters that knew how to make small guns like that.

Ever get hit by a cannonball? No? Well, I'd be willing to bet that if you had you wouldn't exactly be in the best of health.

CANNONBALLS KILL. What's so hard to figure about that? You want to get hit by a bullet the size of your head, and think you'll live to tell the story?

Besides, lots of players now have more than 30 HP. I'd say cannons should do 50-60 damage, so it takes a real hero to survive it.

No they had Hand-held Cannons and Muskets back then....

ronith you cant expect cannons to be able to blow down walls and stuff, you have to think how their going to make this all work. think of all the bugs and stuff. i agree with pith if 2 kindoms were having a war, and one army was outside the other ones castle and you were up on the wall trying to defend it, what would you do? hit the people down below with your sword? or maybe use arrows? NO bows suck ass so how will you kill anyone without running out of arrows? cannons SHOULD exsist in kingdoms its a good idea
