Pearl Stealing? WTF?

I was pearl diving and this guy accused me of "pearl stealing". How the hell can you steal someones pearl? Then I remembered hearing something about pearl stealing around when Alkaren became cheif.

Anyway, WTF is this "Pearl Stealing" and will I need to get some kinda "anti-pearl stealing" campaign or something started? (I hope not, especially now that rock stealing is almost over).

Rock stealing is illegal since mining costs money, pearl stealing is not illegal tho because pearl diving is free.

Didn't hear that right. In any case however, he jailed somebody for pearl stealing, which is not illegal, which means he abused his power, which means he is corrupt and should be fired.

But i am not sure this is what happens. I was diving for pearls while DV was. So i am trying to get as many as i can. Than he says gimmi pearls back i am like no. Than i think he told Rabid to jail me and Rabid jailed me with no question asked because DV is staff. He gave me 6 rocks in bomy jail which are hard to do

Uhm-- This is all very stupid considering you don't even need to kick the shells for them to open, they open by themselfs, and kicking them doesn't get you pearls any faster (from personal experience). It's all just timing and paitence, who ever gets to the pearl first gets it, you can't steal them because noone owns them, if theres someone else? oh well, why not come back another time?

Pearl Stealing is illegal. When you kick open a pearl, it is YOUR pearl and if someone else takes it, it's stealing. That is what Alex said. Shells that open by themselves are open for everyone.

Ok, I was wrong, but I still think the outcome has very little difference-- as for "ownership" if perl stealing were illeagle than they should have added to the script making whoever kicks it first the owner, unless they stop kicking for 10-20 seconds or something like bread.
