despite the differences in believes they still function as a kingdom together; due to the fact that the leaders of Light, and Dark mages
are brothers.

there will be more to come as progress is made, please post your opinions as i said earlier, thanks.

I kind of like the idea, but I think you stole it from Obsydyon......We have Dark Priests, Holy Priests..........Except Obsydyon is now mostly Demonic.........This does sound like a fun kingdom-if it's done right. I think people should be creative with their element ideas-not just the same old cliches. Like use a Gaia element to be life force of the earth and mabey Tiki element for islandish magic like Volcanoes and Hurricanes and Coconut Blizzards.

Hey Brad, can we send Dustari mages and wizards to the tower to have them train at your facilities? I think that would be a good RP idea, seen as though they wouldn't just learn some things about magic but also about role-playing

you cant steal the idea of a mages guild from someone else, the idea has been around for a long time.

Priests and wizards are completly diffrent things, the only thing that is alike about them is the light and dark things, which brings me to my next topic.

how the **** can a demon use holy magic? wouldnt they burn themselves out if they attempted that?

Obsydyon isnt even a kingdom, it's a group of annoying people that thought up a completly contradictory concept and decided to name it after a misspelling of a rock name.

and for the element names: island magic? why the **** would they teach island magic at a mage tower in the snowymountains, wouldnt that be more fitting to the pirates, who call it voodoo? Gaia magic would be just earth magic, I dont think the graalians worship gaia as a god, not even the captain planet fans.

the best idea for magic would be to try set up a sort of magic AP system: if you tried to go too far down the scale on one side of the light dark system, it would be very hard to learn light spells, but once you would start learning light spells and become high equal leveled in them, it would be just as easy for both sides.
your MP would be set up on a percentage system, your AP for your more prominent path would always have the higher percentage over the other path.

No, I haven't bypassed any of your kingdom athority when making dissions like that, though I want to talk to you about additions ;D!

it should be a subkingdom, but it's leaders should keep it neutral, and offer it as a middle ground between kingdoms until trouble happens.

For the umpteenth time, I did not copy your name! I've used this as my pen name for everything I do. Either way, the whole copying off Obsydyon thing was sarcasm. This is why I don't like coming to the message board, almost everyone either types like they're a three year old, flames someone without understanding, or even just inserts assanine phrases no one can understand. i liked the idea you said before about how it should be like an ap systen but under a certain point it would be hard to learn light spells etc,,,
or if there was like a 1 out of 5 chance the spell would hit, so mages wouldnt have a godly advantage over lets say, knights

maybe mages would have to concentrate on casting, like they would have to use some sort of system to aim the spell at the right person, and it would take around 2 seconds to cast.

Well, the dark mages I am assuming will have the magic of attack. AKA Fire, ice, darkness, etc. The light which will have curing, poison heal, etc. I want time magic..those are my favorite mages. From FF tactics. They controlled time and stuff, cant remember the name

As for Jin, I am no longer going to argue with someone who is a member of a group that contains a mage that thinks he can cast every spell in the book and some that aren't. And the demon thing is part of my story, it's not like I used it to do some thing like "Summon the Firey Bowels of Hell to Engulf you all so you're dead", it was a nervous reaction for my character as a reformed demon, when he morphs he actually becomes weaker. And I know your going to come up with some twisted comment taken out of context to try and make me look like a total jackass, so go ahead and do it.

Yes, sorcerers can use spells from every type of magic class.

Mages with destructive offensive spells,
but they arent necessarily evil.
I mean Im not evil if I sink a castle and kill everyone in it,
if its for a good cause.
Also what would be interesting would be if the mages in the Antora Mages also would/could go to the other kingdoms as mages for the kingdoms. Either that or the mages in the seperate kingdoms would have the same type of magic system.
