Cool New Improvement for forums

well.... i dont know if this is possible with Vbulletin or not, but i have an idea i just remembered

I used to moderate a forums like a year ago called Planet Community www.planetcommunity.com

well anyways... they used to have an old system using Karma, im sure most of you know what this is

anyways if you were good and you did somthing great an admin,mod,security member might give you a karma... after like 200 posts if would go away, so its not so big of a deal

then if you spammed or went against the terms of service you would recieve negative karma

after you got so far in the negatives you would be banned or something...

good idea, but I dont think ur allowed to edit vBulletin so the forums would have to be made from scratch

Actually it's part of the VBulletin License that you're allowed to modify the existing code. Otherwise all Vbulletins would look exactly the same

With vbulletin you can change the variables..the code anything you want aslong as you dont distribute your changed PHP Scripts you can do what you want.
