Hiya All! I have good news and bad news. Bad news:
Dan Hackers got in my compouter and deleted all my RP-PW graal files (actually NW buy who cares) and they are all gone and we have to start all over.
Good news:
we have a GFX Artist that is making our mpa from a revision of the old one. We are going to post it fresh from the level generator when he gets it done. WE will still have everything we used to have, yet this time it will be kept in my new McAffee™ Firewall.
If anyone can help us name this awesome graalian TRUE RP project, please do. We are not the best at naming. I am going to have my GFX artIst make us a sweet tileset. Yet we'll make a few bodies that wont clash with the heads as in 2002.
We are taking RolePlaying to the next level with some of the finest scripters, level makers, GFX Peeps, and the brains behind RolePlaying which will help us all out in becoming true RPers to make this the best server yet to come in the history of graalness .:Echoes:. ness nes nes nes nes....
If you can please help us out in the naming processes, please do. We need the server name, and towns named. We need a good web person to make us a php type website. That is all. Goodday.
P.S. I will post the fresh made map when I recieve it.

Finally a fellow PW project which sounds professional. You are the first PW project I have seen not asking for someone else to do all the work, and for that you have earned a bit of respect form me. I look forward to some screenshots and more information.

I do appreciate that. I do what the public likes. I'll get the first screenshot I can to ya, I am attaching the map now. Due to the file loss, we are starting with a fresh LevelGen image from our GFX Artist. We are renaming our staff positions to make them more realistic with the theme the staff chooses all together. Here is a memoir list:

We are trying to make this the best possible. We are going to work long and hard on it. Any suggestoins are welcome. We'll hire working people now, no GPs, FAQs, ETs just yet. I am not asking for help, but if you wish to help out on this great project, pelase contact me to read our privacy contract so no one steals one idea. I'll go ahead and post the Map. I'll get a screenshot out as soon as I make a good one. Remember, this is fresh out of the levelGen. I want no complaining.

OH! let me mention, that is not a happy face close to the botton. that was supposed to be a big mountain, but it generated wrong. kinda funny., I think I'll leave it that way. (I HAVE TO, 2.28 MB of outside levels is enough to e-mail once a day)

Not bad. From the looks of it you may just be making a great PW. Now lets hope your staff and you are good enough to fill it up with quality material.

Ok Mr Shadrock maybe some people don't use the full world continet - type style which you do...(not that I'm one of the people that don't..). That map is pretty nice, if you think about the fact that its just been level generated without any alterations...

Yeah, ignoring me on AIM for a week was really mature. Just the same as blocking me for stating my valid opinion. Wow Shadrock, you sure are a nice friend. God, now I regret ever thanking you in my Thanksgiving profile.

I thank those who stand up for other PW owners and creators. I would do the same had been given the same situation. Now I am going to start the alterations. first going through each and every level and adding elevated grass, and maybe tring a few of those ground elevation commands and making a shooting range.
Also, I have run into a problem... My GFX Artist had to have me refresh his memory 5 times within 10 minutes (NEW RECORD!!) on what a tileset was. Then I had to tell him the filename. pics1.png, 'but dont save it as pics1.png'
If anyone cares to help us out in the making of a tileset, with the house-type design of g2k2, yet in the smaller design as marasume. We are combining all great things and making them great. We are using original ideas, images, scripts and level techniques.
I am not begging for hepl, but if it is possible that someone could help us out, I'd appreciate it. Goodnight all.

I have never exploded on you because of your opinions towards me liking the Xbox and you hating it, but you call me a ***** ad such for hating your rap, man that makes you a swell friend I guess. I was pissed that you made a blanket statement about rap, saying ALL RAP sucks. I never said all the stuff on Xbox sucks, I just said I didn't like it. Was my opinion. It's an OK map, nothing really special. I'd say make the actual building and stuff first, and then add most of the trees and pathways. The main point is to have good land structure, I've seen a lot of new PWs with the water area going to left to right, I'm glad you didn't copy that. I wish you the best of luck.

Well, if I did, then I'm sorry I made it sound that way. But you not liking rap doesnt give you the right to say it sucks either. It's still a form of verbal art (some of it) and a way for people to express themselves. Just the same as all the other music. We both made blanket statements, so neither of us really have an argument to go on. Are you willing to accept my apology?

Ok, I want to let you all know I am about to post a screenshot. This is the first level we have gotten finished. We are using basic tileset, and there are no NPCs in this level. We did make a few editions to the tileset to make this possible. We are going to start adding light effects once Zodiac Island is done. It is named that because Zodiac, a very good LAT, is makin an island for himself to use. It'll have a lot of interactive stuff, including things that will change player paths. BRB. I am going to find the level and make a screenshot.

Ok, here it is, I have not had time to make a system and make all teh stats look better than the default. Remember: There are no NPCs. Only one NPC which redefines the tileset. I have made it replace the tree in pics1 with the tree in..pics1. Yet I made the upper half 'dontblock drawoverplayer' type tiles. We added a few tiles to make the trees able to be placed in literaly anywhere and it'll look as though the were NPCs, yet they are not. We are taking measure to reduce all lag, while keeping an awesome playscape. Here ya go

He just stuck it together, make the char look like me (lol) and tok a shot. The level is basically empty. I'll make a level and send post it. I didn't even look at the screenshot before I posted it. I just posted and then:

Well, I am off to work on a level. A GOOD ONE. Yea, that level sucks. The layering of the trees lets them be in all sorts of different positions. Instead of the cleeshÅ forest. We have a guy making new MIDIs, yet he isn't associated with graal, so in turn has no nick, and does not want to be listed. We are going to have all sorts of themes you can use, and the music only plays when you allow it to. Meaning you have a weapon the enables/disables music. One that changes sound effects and ganis, the default ones. Well, g2tgw, bye bye

How are you saying you made tiles that overlap? It's impossible without a second layer of tileset, since the overlapping tree tiles would write over the existing grass tile, meaning there would be no grass tile under the tree, or that the tree tiles had grass on them that would overlap the players.. you obviously used npcs..

Oh and Shadrock is always like that.. he thinks his work is the best, and if he comments on yours saying it sucks, then it's a fact or something, but if you tell him his work sucks, he jumps down your throat explaining why his is better then yours. He contradicts everything he says.. if he didn't care about what others say about his work, then why did he ignore me on aim because I said his work wasn't good? Trueheat is the same way, which is probably why they are friends.

I hate to break it to you shadrock and trueheat, but you don't write the rules on what is good and what isn't.

I don't really think the map is that special either.. it could have been improved if it was drawn out on paper or something first.. it looks like it was just made on the fly which is what I don't like about nearly every playerworld.. take time and draw and write everything out ON PAPER, and you will probably have a much better end product.

You showed me the new tileset you were working on, I told you I didn't like the static on the water, but I liked the new trail tiles, and then you said I was biased because TrueHeaT said he liked it, when in fact he liked and disliked the same things I did...
