as for the staff gettinng paied here and there, yes i could understand it, but than there would be a rush of newbie and crappy levels comming in just for the gralats ;(
But once you get to a certain point of working on graal, you have no use for gralats no ingame playinng, I can't play graal or make gralats on graal wihtought having something in my name like "PLAYIHG DND!@" or somthing.

You should want to help people/be staff to help people. Not for power, or gralats. This system will just cause the Staff admins to get more PMs.

FAQs should not have warpto. They aren't really supposed to take people places. FAQ means Frequently Asked Questions, not Frequently warping places And taking people through Quests. Just answer their questions, but if they need help with jobs, show them where the place to do the job is, and show them an example.

the gralat system was intended for lat/nat/gat/police type of jobs. those people actually have to do hard work, it's nothing compared to the other jobs

No because then everyone would want to be staff and the Admins would log on and have 2795392075302 pms from people wanting to be staff soooo bad and they have wanted it ever since they got a 2k1 account even thought they have like 2 hours on the server.

*shakes head* are you all with out commen sense fully read what I said before replying I NEVER SAID I WANT WARPTO, just a thing that would let you quickly get from place to place ie. an item where you select it it gives you a list like bomy moon, zalbs etc. and you go there, or my original idea was a faq kart like a go kart only super mega fast, and I also told stefan, bird bird, and toran about building a faq house about 3 weeks- maybe even a month ago

I find that dumb
Becomeing staff is voluntary and you shouldnt be paied for it
its no fair that players are working farming and stuff and staff just sit there and going money outta there arses. It wouldnt be fair and everyone would want to become staff. No I dont like it.

I didn't read the full thread yet, but it seems to me that staff could just play with their staff tag on and earn money, the system would need to be able to check if they're actually working, which wouldn't be possible.

First of all when you make it so that staff get some type of reward tell no one but the staff. That solves the problem of people wanting to be staff for the rewards.

Secondly I think they should get either greatly reduced account fees or free accounts that seems fair enough, and not playerworld staff or really really bad p2p server probably just providence and graal 2001 and 2002

okay, this idea just hit me! so, no one wants to be low staff on g2k1 for one reason: no power, all you get is a tag. well, i think i might have a solution to that problem. in an effort to redeem myself and get more people to help g2k1 i've devised a semi-constructed solution *clears throat*

if you're a level builder and you build levels and actually do your job, you would get to keep your Level Builder tag. now, if stefan or someone could script a system that logged how long you were on the tag and it multiplied the time the tag was worn for by a percentage of however valuable you were to the g2k1 staff in a value of gralat, so...

Muroshi (Auctioneer) logged for 1 hour [1 hr/30g]

auctioneer is a pretty low and not too tedious staff job, so you wouldn't be paid that much. lets say 30g an hour? grr, i know it's a bit confusing. just try your best to understand =P

if you stayed on the tag for an hour or more, then you'd have the amount of hours converted to your earned wages. think of it as clocking in and out of work

of course the higher staff jobs wouldn't be paid or maybe they could. but the tedious jobs such as coding npc scripts, building levels, and making graphics should require paying the player a few gralats. the coordinator of each department could specify the worst of their staff to someone who manages the staff system that issues out the payments. it's just an idea, feel free to critisize(sp?) or add your own ideas
who doesn't want to be staff on g2k1?

I never want to get paid. I have my job, and I do my job. Being able to do my job is all I care about; I don't care about money.

(I remember Torankusu was working on something that counts the hours a staff member was on)

I don't think it would work out. People would just join staff for the money, leading to many problems. Other people who are doing there job are getting accused of just trying to get money off it. etc.
