Butak pets could work out and you could use them to fly to certain preset locations on the map like a warp ring

butak are cool, but if u saw the race of faeries that i saw you would like them alot. ive only seen the female part of the race so far though.

Hey, thanks for the poll! I would like to say a few things, especially regarding the Zulite race.

I really want to get it done and on a server. Period. It's been under development long enough. And though the progress has been moving at a snail's pace (my fault!), we have made a few big steps in the past week or so (view the thread here and be sure to read the last page or two for the latest developments)

The VERY FIRST POST I made on this forum was about a new race. A rock race that could roll! Slowly, ever so slowly, it began to take shape, and still not finished, but it has been getting there.

Basically, I wanted to create an open source race. Everyone gives their ideas, the ideas are considered, everyone pitches in on the script and on the graphics. It sounded like fun, figured it would be a hit, but actually few people were interested

Now we have about a dozen races in various states of completion being either worked on, or worked on in the past. None are finished! Why aren't people taking interest? I guess it's just that people want to play as humans.

Anyways, I hope some of you that have not read the Zulite thread will do so! Anyone who wants to help make graphics, ganis or contribute to the script are welcome to try their luck. Me, Tyhm and Kaimetsu would appreciate it a lot

What if instead of races, there was a way to maybe... transform into these other forms temporarily? Then maybe there could be things you would have to transform to do.. such as quests, or something... Maybe have some wizard in a spell shop/house that sells spells and lets you create your own or something.. then you could use the potion and transform for a certain ammount of time?

I think that might be better then being a race.. then jobs would have to be added for freak dragon monsters and rock people.. lol

This idea WAS talked about very seriously in the original Zulite thread (not the new one on the race forum) and the idea was not well liked. In fact it was rather disliked ^_^ Personally I like the idea of being able to transform back and forth but it doesn't seem to fit the theme of any of the major servers on the scale we are talking about.

At least you are honest.

As for me, any flying race does not interest me (except the faeries, because they don't fly very high, for one thing they would be blown away by winds since they are so small, so they can't fly over trees and things)

My idea for the Plant people was more like the Zerg, where there's an overmind to protect and a bunch of sunken colonies to protect it...pikmin wouldn't work too well with Graal, because what good is one pikmin?

Saelei, coz everything is done, all we need to do is script it server side or something, ask Tyhm. I made the Saelei images. Not much into the scripting of the actual race
