Any pet that can be trained and then made to ight "is like pokemon" GEEZ, is yur dog a pokemon? Are those rosters in somewhere pokemon? Forget the POKEMON stop living in age of 8 years... Fighting Pets is good idea... It was just a very bad interpretation by whoever made those Pokemon!

Any pets created on graal sooner or l8er will be fighting!

and 5 bomies of one bomy skin i dont like, btw, because then you dont have anything to be origional with... one of each is fine.

Then We need more skins because 50 bomys for 1,000 people is not enugh!

Well it will be arriving shortly
Right now I'm just concerned about getting everything working.. when it's all working then I will be adding the details and gameplay things in.

I believe it's better to only have one of each kind, and to accomodate all the bomyless players, new bomies can be made so that everyone gets a chance to own one.. Plus I don't think owning more then one is a good idea since then the richer people will claim new bomies making it even harder for the people with no bomy to get a new one.

I'm pretty sure most the current bomy pet owners have a lot of money (at least enough to buy another one) Plus it would make it a hassle to make multiple client string saving and reading for them all. (would kind of make it like bottles and that is a pain in the butt)

Just to clue some people in, here is a bit of updated info about the new bomy pets:

Bomy pets will be able to be equipped with items, either to use during battle or outside of battle, these items can be anything from healing or stat raising items during battle, to some sort of device or accessory to use outside of battle to assist the owner.
Bomy pets will have lots of stats now such as:
Level
Experience
Health
Hunger
Strength
Defense
Speed
Mood (not 100% sure)

Yes, the style and general idea seems to be very similar to Pokemon, but the battling will be quite different. The players will stand in a battling arena, once both players are ready, the battle will start. A menu will pop up allowing both players to choose to "attack, defend, use item (that is equipped to bomy), special, run" (sounds like pokemon right)
Well the strategy is completely different, when both players have picked an option, the bomies will play out the battle sequence at the same time, so it isn't turnbased. Special moves will be learned once the pet reaches a certain level, and some special moves will only be available to certain pet types.

The actual battling doesn't work the same as Pokemon, but it's hard to explain so just wait and see

For mood, I think the bomy pets will only fight or do things for you when they are in a good mood, in order to keep them in a good mood, you have to feed them often, and maybe play games with them somehow, and interact them with other pets and players

Their bomy loses stats. I know I know, I have a bad connection too some times, but that's the breaks, if the player leaves and doesnt come back for 2 minutes or so, then the battle is declared over, and the other player wins. When the player signs back on, their pets stats will decrease. Stat raising and increasing in battle will be determined by the stats of the bomy pet you're fighting against.

Sooo.. kinda like the DBZ game onlnie, you must predict your opponent's move like if he attacks, you msut evade or somethin.. since it's not turn based, right?

I dun see how it resembles Pokemon... In no way does it, to me anyway...
If it's not original and resembles ANYTHING it seems it'd more or less resemble Yu-Gi-Oh
