Yay it's possible Stefan has the copyright on the name "bomys" and the gfx and ganis used on NM, but if u paint your own pets or 'animals' like this, make your own ganis and stuff you should be allowed to use them online.

You ARE allowed to make four ganis. I believe tyhm did it for the moon and underwater on Classic, and he still has his job.

I dont think you would like people making 4 ganis all in different directions, then they would be able to make even things like bomys and other things in their free playerworlds. If you dont mind then tell me because then I could make use of it.

the rules arent static, of course that rule applies to the loophole as well

The rules regarding ganis are somewhat...vague.

Basically, it boils down to how you use them.

If you make a Bomy race with them, it's illegal. Even if they're all single-frame single-dir ganis.

If you make a door with them, it's legal. Even if they're all multi-frame multi-dir ganis.

So animating a player walking slightly differently is kosher, as long as you don't use any of the illegal commands, like disabledefmovement or whatever that command was we're not supposed to use on Classic...

It shouldnt be . I use it for making menus (like the taylor menu) and some other stuff..

But making a mining axe 4way dir wouldnt it be illegal?

it woulod be illegal if you made it all in 1 gani with all directions. If you made every single direction the axe would still be multi framed. this is what i do, i dont includ the image in the gani. Instead i put the characters and set a image when the player fires that weapon and the gani is displayed too.And I know this is legal for non-p2p.

with script ganis.. you can technically make the all the default bome ganis in 1 gani file. but.. as stefan put it.. its somewhat stupid.

Im just saying that maybe you'd want to clarify you're rules, especially when you go out and make 12 different ganis for a script. It's somehow endorsing using different ganis for each direction. I duno why, but i just feel that way

Tyhm, you are allowed to use disabledefmovement.

And you can make new races with hideplayer.
