There won't be much of a difference other than it's an event. Which is perfect, gangs are all about raiding. So why not an event that has to do with raiding?

I have my own restrictions in place so it can only be hosted once a week during normal gang events.

IMO raiding is its own thing, and events should be kept different and separate. However, from your second response it looks like you intend for it only to be used as a gang event? That's cool beans and all kinds of awesome. The once a week thing sounds cool too, gives it some exclusivity and blah.

My 'detraction from raiding' comment was meant to be in regard tonormal, non-event raiding. But again, my misunderstanding lead to this question and has been resolved by your answers. So cooooooool.
