That sounds like an issue you could fix.

I rather not waste my time filtering through hachi's code :x
I've already tried once, its a big mess.

And I don't have time to create my own baddie, so no that's not an option.

Hack fix, then. If they get fixed upon being shot, shoot some invisible projectiles at them when you enter the level.
