Remodeling GFX/Guns

So I'm starting a new ACTIVE thread. Taking requests on weapons currently on Era that you feel need to be redesigned or modeled. Here is a MetalStorm I redid based of off the original. Wanted it to look somewhat newer and still keep its old school charm.

I have attached a copy of the most familiarized MS, the Blookat version.

Currently working on:

Thing is, right now the one in Era isn't the classic MS. It's a weapon that is a little more realistic-looking, but it isn't the Metalstorm that most players are familiar with using.

I used to hate the old MS, it would be half the reason I didn't buy it, because it was so ugly.
The old gfx for the MS should just be ditched.
Thank god for the new one.
But you did manage to make the old MS look slightly more attractive.

To each their own I guess. I'm gonna continue working on it. The older players will always side with what is nostalgic so I'm gonna continue putting out graphics either way.

I appreciate what you stated JasonMazzacre, it's good that someone does like the "updated" old-school MS. I tried to keep it closer to what it looked because there is a lot of old school kats you gotta try to make happy. The newer one might be closer to the actual weapon in real life, but Era never really fit the "realistic" gun-game to me. Most of the time it was made-up novelty guns.

To anyone else, you can always provide some pictures for newer weapons, I'd be more than happy to GFX stuff that Era hasn't seen.

I'm taking requests if anything. Feel free to offer some and offer critiques instead of just directly stating "old MS is always better **** you vic boy."

I thought the osiris could be remodled to a vulcan minigun style. With a side clip. This way, it would also be easier to make reloading animations for it.

If my osiris GFX can't be used, at least make a new one, the gani-less, strange green/gray tinted osiris needs to be gone, especially with the minigun's increasing popularity.

A quick recolor and added a few darker lines around some of the lighter edges to give it a refined look.

I promise I didn't mean to retort in an ass-hole-y way either. But I know you've been around a while and I just appreciate anything that is more constructive over just a statement.

The newer metalstorm is something that has people unhappy, the old one isn't being used and I thought there was a reason (perhaps it not being realistic to the actual weapon/modernization, etc) so I wanted to try and recreate it with a more realistic touch while holding the classic styling. That was the idea behind it anyway, I should have explained.

But anyway, I'm always happy to take any suggestions as to what I can do to make it perhaps a bit better and easier for older and newer players alike to enjoy a remake and many other weapons. Currently, I'm working on redoing the ACR.

When I made the osiris, I was going for more of a professional, sleek look.
You made it look rustic. It looks very nice, except both of the sides are exactly the same.
The white marks on it were the warning or whatever on the left side.
The right side on yours doesn't show the clip x.x
It would be amazing if the osiris officially changed to this.

Either way I'll keep looking at working on it, you did an amazing job with the outline man. It would be a cool change if it can be done. I just finished a preliminary ACR now as well.

I noticed that the reloading gani on the mp44 is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.
I like the ACR but the clip, the trigger guard, and handle look sorta strange.

the old ms was the ugliest ****ing gun in the game -_-. and who ever got rid of the old black lotus gfx? the actual good one that kinda made it look like a blue m4? frankly i think the metal storm could use and entire redesign, why on earth does the gun have no frikken clip?
