Wouldn't this make a simple rule as is? They gamble, they lose out on the ordeal. They agree to the game, so they should realize they're agreeing to the consequences.
There will need to be a procedure for EMs, which may be reflected by expected player behavior. I'll post new rules and procedures in the coming days.
