This pretty much.
Plus it seems more of a hassle than anything to be honest, the businesses only accept a maximum amount of those minerals (I think GP is 1k lead and 300 iron.. the others are similar). So tying up your money for a week to get paid 1.3k more is meh.
And again, those are the shops that require minerals and this was all clarified earlier. (As it pertains to the original post/intent of this thread)
