Dual shotguns make no sense. They cost about 1k for a pair and they fire faster, have a wider spread, reload faster, AND HAVE A BIGGER AMMO CLIP than the m3 shotugun, which is worth about 3k street.
This makes no sense, honestly. The M3 shoots slower, less spread, less bullets in a clip and has a annoying press A four times to reload... this should have a buff, because it's 8,750 shop price. Why buy M3 when you can buy a pair of regular shotguns that are better in every way?

all m3 needs is faster shots/full auto (by holding down d) and it would be better than dual shotguns easily, and make it more of a desirable item and raise the street price (3k) to be closer to the shop price (8.75k). and 2 more shells in the clip to even out the reload so it isn't overpowered, and maybe people would start buying it from shop again (pl9 shotty has a 20 shell clip so it wouldn't "replace" it, as users with m3 would have to reload more often and pros would still be able to eaisly beat it).
Yes, shovelling (or even flower picking) is faster than mining at first. But then again, mining is the only job where anything EVER gets faster... and since we got Vimes to edit it about a year ago + Worker Potions it is utterly the absolute best choice for any long term money making.

Dual shotguns cost $400 AT MOST (if you buy them from the shop). If you're going to make an argument at least do some COMMON SENSE research before spewing out words. Makes you look like an idiot.

M3 costs about 2-3k street at the most. I've purchased one for as low as 1k in the past. It has 20 damage bullets, and is much more functional (more accurate, less freeze, less reload time) than dual shotguns.

I don't even understand the point the rest is getting at. You say to buff/change a gun.. then say don't make it overpowered.. then say change the price.
If I had one guess, I'd say you obviously own one of those weapons?

If dual shotguns are simply nerfed, then noobs will automatically mark shotguns as "noob wep" and the price will crash and burn for reg. shottys and m3 shotty. If they simply look at the stats for m3 shotty, they will realize it's absolutely the same as reg shotty after nerf and m3 will still be worth nothing.
If they went as far to make regular shotguns crap to make m3 look good, then it would just wouldn't hurt anyone to remove them from the game.

Last I checked, this isn't IRL. The bullets technically do spread more over distance.. however making them lose power would be difficult.
Last I checked before my last check everyone was CRYING on Era that shotguns were too underpowered because I got Alfonso to fix the reload crap. Nerfing them further wouldn't be very wise.

M3 is a superior weapon from a skill-based aspect.
Its able to hold its own as a beginner primary weapon, unlike shotgun (to a certain extent).
In other words, M3 vs. Shotgun, same skill level, M3 = Wins.
Got me?
Shotgun is a better weapon for support fire.
M3 is a better weapon for skill/combination in sparring/pk.

To better understand the balance, each weapon has his/her weaknesses in a Tier. No one weapon is way better than another if they're within the same Tier.
M3 and Shotguns are both Tier 1. The difference is not light years. Price is A FACTOR, not THE FACTOR. <- Understand that.

Ok, since I've laced this thread with much negativity shutting down most of the idiotic ideas that flow through here before Zeus/Alfonso can even waste their time reading them... I've got an idea to throw out.

This is based on events. Mostly PK events, but all events would technically fall under this system.

This is similar to an idea/system I recall Sales creating/working on. So it shouldn't be too hard for Alfonso to revive, and finish. (Since that's what his management record is currently based on) < Sorry for that burn, have to keep this real-talk. <3

Okay so I stopped at this point for about an hour not knowing exactly how to present this in words. Haha

Basically instead of winning a EC just for being the last person alive in an event, you'll instead get X event points for achieving a positive goal in that event. (Or possibly lose them for doing something negative)

An example:
CTF - You will receive X event points for killing a player, Y event points for capturing the flag and winning the game(raiders), Y event points for returning the flag to the base(defenders), and Z event points for winning the event. (Killing a team member or getting kicked from the event (not through lag kicker) could even cause you to lose a small amount of points)

Every event will use this Points system, giving every active participant a small reward for achieving the goal. Even Lucky Grab - X points for being lucky (small amount obviously), and Z points for winning the event. Or Chance - X points for surviving a round (small amount), and Z points for winning the event.

**This will ensure you people out there soloing the team in TTS then getting lamed cause your own teammate tags you in don't go out empty handed.**

So now you have these Event Points, these will be able to be exchanged for EC at the event house at a set rate (could be set by the ETA possibly, or just be a 100% fixed rate permanently). Ex; 100ep = 1ec

Since events are 'over hosted' according to some players.. this could potentially help control the flow of EC better and make events more rewarding for people who actually PLAY them.

As opposed to the current system, where it just rewards the last person alive (somewhat flawed system).
Being that last player could be some person who didn't help his team toward the goal, or didn't actively participate in the event. (Happening a lot lately tbh, kids just tag out in TTS, hide in laser tag, or join by :Event 1 1 late in the match... and then win?)

That isn't very fair, fun, or even promotes playing events.

Giving free ep to players in events that did nothing (afkers, leechers) to earn it would make the economy unstable because of the rate of ec's being output from the ep's. it should be like 150ep if a player wins a event (the equiv of 1 and a half ec), and 10 ep if a player only parpicitates, and a 50ep reward if a player gets a certain amount of kills or helps a team alot in a team event.

That's pretty much one of the things it's meant to fix. The afkers/leechers wouldn't be rewarded (unless they somehow win) because they're not doing anything. Whilst the people doing all the killing/positive things on the team.. will get small amounts for doing those things. Currently there's no point to PLAY the event and risk a chance of dying when you can just conserve/save ammo, let your team do it for you, and then kill them all when it comes down to the final round.
Aka. do little/no work and reap the entire benefit/reward.

This seems absolutely counter productive.
If mass-event hosting is an issue because of the output of event coins and only ONE player gets an event coin per event.
How does granting EVERY player that plays an event a certain degree of credit solve this problem?

Not a brain surgeon here, but that seems like it only amplifies the problem.
System sounds nice, again, if the flow of events are BALANCED.

i just want to know how you guys think its ok that m4 is better than shipka i mean pre-nerf there were differences between guns so what if there were a few .05 freeze guns but those guns cost 600k-1.5m.

ok here is the good part IN MY OPINION prices should be based on stats SO all the guns in shop need to have their prices changed. basically lower the prices of the 200k that have stats worse than the 60k guns..THEN i will shut up

@wil see you obviously arent thinking...if a gun is 200k and there is a 70k gun better than it shouldnt the prices be altered to match the stats..you said the stats wont change anytime soon..nothing about prices

Okay, screw anything I've ever said about anything else, but woodcutting needs to be fixed.
I can't cut perfect logs on v5 or v6, even though I get 5 perfects on a tree, then my friends told me that the system was broken. so yeah. supposedly they "might" fix it...
yeah but if they decide to fix it, woodcutting should have more craftable things from logs..
eg. a improved woodcutter's axe that requires 10 lead 10 iron 25 perfect logs, and it is a equip meele that does 10 damage and cuts trees just like the regular wood axe.
would be great for those moments when your woodcutting and a newb jumps you while you're cutting, forcing you to abandon your tree and probably forget where it is, but you'll be able to get revenge on them >

First off all gang guns should be .05 freeze top tier guns. should spruce things up a bit maybe some no freeze weapons where we should have went

Make it so the gang that is holding the base gets to use the guns that are all scattered around there anyway

`cars should be able to run people over and take more damage from gunfire. Also if they're not parked correctly in the spot someone should be able to joyride the vehicle

Biasness:
1. I don't think Era should focus on "other ways of making money". All business' use only minerals so the focus should be mines clearly. Also I think the focus should be on player made business' again.

Player owned businesses' would sell guns and make guns so its like this anyone can own a shop or co own the shop take half the tables (so 2 instead of 4). Than you make minerals from mines able to break down into gun parts 2-3 Gun parts we'll say. But their should be allot of shops and fairly cheep to buy it

ex:I could go into that store and break down 4-5 lexels to make a Thompson. The store would than make some lexels for sale because there isn't many lexels out so they mine and break down lower tier Make it. Make it a gamble breaking down guns 40-70 Gun parts for a lexel. This system would be self sustaining. It's just like pawning ur gun except you get parts not cash.

idk that was just an idea I was thinking up before
