Uhm.. Point out examples of where we are acting "barbaric" and or "uncivil" because I believe we have kept a pretty cool level of civility.

Only time I've seen uncivil chat is the obama post but other than that I don't see your reason for saying what you've said

If the hostility in the thread was so thinly spread that it was easily containable by deleting two relatively unseen/memorable posts, then this thread is hardly as barbaric and uncivil as you claim. Instead of preaching to the choir, you should reprimand those specific few posters who had their content deleted.
