Well in my opinion, if this were to happen.. of course like 100 people would be on the first day, and see that there is limited areas to go.. and they would moan and complain, and never come back.

So the only way they would ever hear about an update.. is in Graal News.

It's hosted for a reason, a basic sample and a hiring phase. =D

Of course it doesn't. It's a preview but when it goes full game or if they decide to release a lot more while they're hosted it could pose a problem.

I'm happy that you decided to work for mal, but you should know it's a requirement to have a small playerbase (I believe) to get back to classic? I don't know if maloria is an exception though since it was classic...

We're talking about enabling classic on a hosted server to remove the trial and observer restrictions (not moving it to classic status)

That's new to me? How can a Private server get a player base when its on a P2P status? We (Bravo Evolved), was private and we applied straight for classic and got approved by Stefan/MoonGod. I don't believe we had a player base at all but that also led to our demise :P.

I fixed that one by now. It was apparently a problem for a lot of players (myself included) that the level text in the Party window was too big of a font size, and caused huge lag whenever you were showing it.

Just split the large image into multiple smaller images. I've seen this done before for large maps with level-size images, and it worked fine.

Glad to see the project has been revived yet again... Hopefully it won't disappear into the abyss either.. Can't wait to see the finished article.

Props go to who ever made the stump, tree & bush too.. They look nice even if they are in the rough at the moment.

Meh. I just hopped on Maloria for the first time in a bit.. i tried it about a week ago, but this time it made me re-choose class/nation. Then, i realise i'm lagging terribly just being on it, which doesn't happen with other servers.. I feel like it shouldn't even be named Maloria if it's not going to keep the Gmap, the map was what made Maloria what it was, in my eyes.
