Draxx had been Aran for a billion years and got ran off the server because Zormite kept causing friction with him. He never relinquished Forest, and they had an inactive leader for quite some time. Several years. Because of that, the entire kingdom suffered, and eventually, everyone with add rights became inactive. The kingdom had an astounding player count of 0.
Eventually Daya came back to Graal, with her Forest "queen" (Tari?) tag, and people pointed out that Draxx needed to be done away with. So Daya got Forest, decided the name was stupid, and changed it to Taure, which apparently means Forest in Elven or something. I don't know. She became inactive too, and Forest/Taure got handed down to Mydia, Grir, and Highlander. It stayed Taure, rumor spread that it would be Forest again, and they maintained a briefly high member count. Then the leader(s) fell off the face of the Earth, again, and the kingdom members became 0, again, and rumor that it would be deleted started to circulate. And then it did get deleted. And Forest has only themselves to blame.
Or something like that. I remember joining "Taure" after I left Zormite to help Highlander look less inadequate, it didn't work.
